tobacco especially needs steeping 1-2 weeks probably not un common. i diy juices and some of mine have steeped 2 months or more. mine stay closed, in dark cool place, but I shake them well every day. i vape mostly desserts/fruits and since when i diy I make about 1 month worth of juice at a time, i have plenty left in the steep area to go back to.

I have started giving mine hot water baths daily for several days in a row, then a gynormous shake afterwards. This has really sped up the steeping time for me.

I would like to try your steeping method. How long do you leave the bottle in hot water and how hot are you talking about? Boiling? Thanks

I place a few bottles in a ziplock bag (making sure to press all air out), then place inside 2 more ziplock bags. I made the mistake of using boiling water the first time, and I don't recommend it. Several of the bottles warped, and the "nipples" became stuck in the lids. I now run tap water as hot as I can, and use a large bowl to place the bag of bottles in. Also, I use a lid on the bowl. Leaving the bag of bottles in until the water is almost room temp, I flip them over every so often. If time permits, I even do a second round. Then, when they are "done", I remove them from the bags. After a hearty shaking, I remove the lids long enough to gently squeeze a whiff, then put the lid back on and throw them in my box. I do this at least three days in a row, but sometimes four or five-depending on the juice.

I'd like to point out that because I like mine really sweet, I always add the sweetener to the bottles before I start bathing them. Have fun, and I hope this helps :)
