It's not always necessary. Sometimes, if a liquid is made very freshly it'll smell perfumey or chemicaly. Given a week or two of just sitting somewhere, even with the cap on, it should lose that chemical/perfume smell.

Otherwise, it doesn't need steeped as most juices have been made long before they were sent out to you so steeping is a pointless exercise.

Rule of thumb: if it tastes nice from day one, vape it from day one. If it tastes bad, leave it a week or two and if it still tastes bad then, it'll never taste good.

I ordered some strawberry e-juice 2 weeks ago and did not like it. Since then, I gave it a go today and it now tastes great. Thanks for the explanation.
