Need strawberry flavor

I'm trying to perfect a strawberry shortcake receipe (if you have one, please post it). I got PA strawberry, but i'm not digging it. It does taste like strawberry but has a chemical after taste.

Can you suggest one from another vendor?

Yeh, and that's the receipt I am trying to duplicate. LOL. Looking at their page is says their DYI strawberry is Loranns.

I've used Lorann's strawberry flavor and it's actually pretty good. I found it locally. Try Hobby Lobby if there's one in your area. 15% flavor is what I used and it's not too weak, not too strong.

Would you mind sharing at what percentage you mix your FA strawberry/coconut? That sounds really good!

Mixed up a few flavors this am and I have to say this Strawberry coconut has real promise. Went low 5% Strawberry and 3% coconut and it tastes pretty good, kinda like a strawberrys and cream type. It reminded me of these mexican snack cakes we can get out here that are a cake roll with strawberry jelly, cream filling, and coconut sticking on the outside. Mmmm...giving myself the munchies.
I am just trying the FA flavors, got a bunch last week. Tried coconut by itself at 10% and got a burnt milk kind of taste. I'm used to using LA flavors. Not to threadjack, but does anyone have a sweetspot % wise for FA coconut?
