Need suggestions on vv/vw mods for Aspire Nautilus

I just picked up an Aspire Nautilus tank and spend a few extra bucks on the stainless steel cage.. Currently I'm using a Kamry x6 vv mod and it works, don't get me wrong, but the tank overlaps the battery. I'm actually looking at a few different mods, one in particular is the Smoktech Ace. I understand batteries and the complications/dangers, so aside from all that I'm trying to find a mod that's flush with the Nautilus. If it overlaps a tiny bit, whatever, but I need to be able to read ohms and change the wattage/voltage accordingly. The x6 only has 3 settings and doesn't tell you a damn thing, it just dies, lol.

so I guess I'm turning this post over to you guys here on ECF to recommend a decent mod that I can go get in stores here in Louisville, Ky. If you live around these areas and know where to get a decent mod for less then $50, let me know where and what. If not, PLEASE post a pic of your setup and some pros and cons. Also looking at the vamo 5. I'm saving for a better mod, I just need a vv/vw mod to get me through till I can snag a damn good mod!!

ps, I'm not into box mods, just my thing... So have at it, post your Aspire Nautilus tank on different vv/vw setups and I'll check back in the morning!! But as of right now I'm kinda leaning toward the Smoktech Ace!! I like the oled display, lol!! Thanks!

The ace is basically the same as the vamo v5. And the vamo is a little cheaper which you could put the savings towards your better mod. I am using a aerotank on a v5 right now and it putting out some good flavor and decent vapor. The wife has a innokin svd with a kayfun on it that hits just as well. Both look good with the respected tanks on them

Here it is on the MVP2 and a Sigelei 20w. I love both mods.

20140720_085256.jpgI've been using the Joytech Evic. I like it, It overhangs just a little, but that makes the knurl easier to grab. I set it for RVW configuration and hit the coils with 1/2 second at 9 watts, 1/2 second at 7 watts 1/2 second at 6 watts and the remaining 8-1/2 seconds at 5.3 watts. This heats the coils up hard and fast with little danger of burning the cotton during an extended burn time.

Is love to get the evic, but it's outta my price range, probably going with the Ace since it's on sale. I'm going down there once my phone is charged up. Going to see if there is any other vv mods that they have. The shop I usually go to doesn't have a great selection, but they are new so eventually I'll get a better mod. They sell the vamo v5, but for like $60, and their already wrapped, I'm not a huge fan of wraps, so I'll be getting the Ace, in black, unless they have something different!!

Well, it just so happened that I checked craigslist and someone was selling an iTaste 134 for $60!!! Offered $50 and picked it up! Even threw in a samsung 18650!!! So far so good!! Higher the wattage, bigger taste and clouds!! He was selling it because he's into dripping now.. I tested it prior to buying and with my nautilus, WOW, great purchase!! Thanks guys!!!
