I know, you see this all the time, and I have searched and read a number of posts. The problem is that my experience doesn't even marginally match what I've read others say. I bought a bottle of PureSmoker 24mg menthol liquid, and loaded up my new VaprLife PV2 with it. It's making plenty of vapor, but there is no throat hit at all. I mean I can't feel a damned thing.

I smoked strong menthols before - like Kool unfiltered, but from the reservation. What kind of juice do I need to feel something like that? Or am I just not putting enough juice in the cart? I put four drops in the wick, and primed the atomizer with two drops. Is that not enough? Seriously, there is really no sensation at all from this liquid. I get a much stronger hit from the VaporKing menthol, and it's way too weak.

Please help, I feel like I just wasted a ton of money between the VP2, VaporKing, liquid and such. The complete lack of sensation I'm getting will not cut it at all. I need something that would make a "normal" person stop breathing.

Two primary components of throat hit are nicotine content and heat. You can get e-liquid from some suppliers up to 48mg. The heat of the vapor can also increase throat hit sensation. This can be accomplished using a manual battery or moving on to a custom battery pack, often referred to as a mod, that can run at voltages higher than the typical 3.7 volt screw-in battery.

Myfreedomsmokes.com sells up to 48mg. I started out on 24mg and read on the forums that higher nic meant better throat hit. I got 36mg and it made all the difference for me. I now switch between 24mg and 36mg. I still use the 24mg when I want to puff it like a cigar and let the smoke billow from my mouth and pretend I'm a dragon. :)

Also, the aforementioned website has Menthol, Mint and Spearmint flavors as well as an option for "Extra Flavoring". I'm allergic to mint, so I wouldn't be much help on the taste, but thought you'd like to know of the options.

I would concur... TW has a really good tobacco flavor.. I am not a big menthol person.. but their menthol drops are not a bad price.. and you can cut them with aqueous glycol.. which they also carry. This will extend the use of every bottle of menthol you get and of course, if you premix at all... and you want more of a throat hit..

I would recommend. get TW 36 mg Tabacco flavored juice and put 2 mils measured into a plastic 5 mil dropper bottle. Then, add .75 mil aqueous glycol, and .75 to 1 mil of menthol. (DIYflavorshack even has menthol flavor crystals that you can add.. they are a little stronger than menthol drops.) cap the bottle.. shake it up and ymmv. TW's tabacco flavor is about all I like myself from their line, as most of their candy flavors are too weak. If you find that after trying some of their stuff., you can get a flavor doubler(flavor concentrate) to add and make it better.
Anyway, thats my $0.02 worth. Later, Tom

A few corrections here. Myfreedomsmokes sells up to 60mg. What's interesting is that i can vape it straight (I had to try), but their 24mg Cinnamon Roll is really harsh. Don't know what to tell you other than go for more menthol. TW Spearmint at 24 is a tad harsh for me. I just don't do well with menthol.
