Hi everyone, I just start vaping, and I bought a (smokefreeonline.com) from mall (I think I over paid for the starter kit for USD110!), it taste great but the battery is too short and the smoke is not as much as the real cigarettes, so I checked on the internet and find out the 6volt big battery mod should fill my needs, but the information I got for the 6V are 1-2 years ago, when I make my choice to purchase (The Thermo) from litecigusa.net, they told me it's discontinued! so I am wondering any expert here can recommend me a good mod, reasonable price (best deal for the buck, I don't want to over paid like the one I bought from the mall), long battery with 6Volt, alot of smoke (I am a heavy cigarettes smoker), and where to buy it, I am in the USA. Thank you all in advance for the help. Jason.

I really enjoy the HV 6V onefive,,, I would suggest one of the many Box Mod juice feeders that are available, like the Phidias, VV Ali'i, Reo Woodvil or Reo Grand, monkeybox any of these are fabulous products. The important part is the Batts and the Atty you team it up with. Get yourself some AW LiFePO4 Batts and some Ikenvape HV Attys and whatever your favorite juice is and you will be all set with this combo in any of these Mods. Also the Provari and Darwin are excellent Mods too. These will provide at great 6v experiance, just get the right Atty, Iken has the best HV Atty on the market that I have found, it provides a nice smooth HV Vape

Just curious - Why do you think a 6 volt mod would work for you better than an Ego or Riva 510 (650-1300mah) and the huge variety of low resistance atomizers and cartomizers, tanks etc available for them? You get up into 6 volts then doesn't that make the whole variety of LR stuff unusable?

I saw it in youtube that 6V is the best for heavy smoker like me and long battery life. Thanks.

I started out the same as you. Blu e-cigs made me want to smoke more than not. I soon discovered battery mods and dropped $150 on a 3.7v Silver Bullet and accessories from Altsmoke.com. Since then, I made my own 5v box mod for about $12 and is now my go to vape. For the price I paid for the Silver Bullet, I could have made more than 10 box mods that perform the same if not better than name brand devices, not to mention with the pleasure of knowing is it of my own make. I'm putting up my Silver Bullet for sale as soon as I can post in the Classifieds section of the forums...

Actually 6V tends to lead to short battery life as it requires 2 small 3V (600-900mAh) batteries in place of one large 3.7V battery.(2400mAh) At 6V 900mAh a heavy vapor will get 4-5 hours vaping out of a set of batteries where as a 3.7V 2400mAh battery will last about 12 hours even with low resistance atomizers. and at 3.7V with low resistance you won't burn delicate juices like a 6V will.

If we knew what your cigarette brand strength and Packs per day were and what you would like out of an e-cig such as battery life availability to "fiddle" with it, such as are you willing to drip every few minutes wand to get a half our to hour between refills or longer or only want to fill once a day. Bearing in mind the less fiddling you are willing to do the more expensive and/or complex it gets.

LR attys do not provide the same consistency or throat hit in comparison to a good 5 volt or variable volt PV.

Love my six volt mods. They are all chucks, go check out the thag built subforum.
In regards to battery life, I get to days of heavy use out of my batts unless I am using dual coil cartos, then it is one.

You also have the same options in regards to 3.7 and 7.4 plus you can rest assured that should you ever have any trouble in regards to mod failure, the manufacturer, Jeff, will take super care of you.

If what you are looking for is really long battery life, a mod that uses a 18650 3.7v battery will last you a day or better. I can't think of any 6v set up that would last a full day. Also, if you find out that you need the extra heat from higher voltage, a mod that uses 18650's can also usually be used with stacked 3v batteries for 6 volt.
