Need to clean 510

I stopped using my e-cig awhile ago, a have a 510, and a 901. I don't like my 901 that much, so i want to start using my 510 again, but the threads on the attys and batteries are all gunked up. What can I do to remedy this?

Dip a cotton swab in some alcohol, gently clean them off?

A microfiber cloth is great for cleaning up battery threads and inside the atomizer threads. I keep one sitting on the arm of my chair and one near the charger for quick a clean up before charging a battery too (liquid in the charger is bad!).

I'd avoid isopropyl when other things work just as well. I take a Qtip and soak it in Galen's vodka 151 and take it into the well of the 510 batt and "screw it in" well making sure to clean that center post. A paper towel with 151 on the outside threads of the atty and the bottom center post but keep it in center. Everything comes right off - dries quickly and leaves no film and nothing bad to inhale.
