Need to create a light analog experience

I've been reading this forum for about 2 weeks now and am really impressed by everyone that contributes.

I am in dire need of advice! My wife is an analog chain $moker and is willing to switch to e-cigs and she currently smokes marlboro medium 100's.
I ordered a set of 501's branded as Firelight's. The e-cig MUST look like an analog (so we don't get pulled over while driving), which the FL does. The atty is shaped like a large cone and provides a lot of vapor.

Everytime she draws on it she says that its too harsh. She likes the JC flavors and we have tried high and medium nic content.
I personally can't tell a difference in "harshness" and am skeptical of going for a lower content level. How can i make the vapor less harsh?

As i've said she smokes light analogs that taste like air to me. Is there a way to emulate a light analog with an e-cig? a filter? a chemical to mix with the juice? Thanks!

Is it the amount of vapor or the nic level? I haven't noticed any difference between a 18mg and a 24mg juice.. or is 18 too high still?

6mg is too high for me sometimes, and I use to smoke a few packs while going out at night of ultra lights.Very individual thing to get the right amount of nic in your juice.

Hello Corporate and Welcome! This is just my opinion.............I find that the PG liquid I originally purchased was harsh and horrible. I do not know if it is just the supplier that I purchased it from or if PG and me just don't agree. I did purchase VG based liquid from the same supplier and find that to be more of a perfect fit. No where near as harsh as the PG. I have ordered more PG from a supplier that everyone raves about and am hoping that those will be better. But maybe your wife would like the VG based better or perhaps try another supplier. I was a 1.5 - 2 pack a day smoker for 34 years of full strenth menthol cigs. I find that the 26 is a little too high for me. I think finding the right mg of nic is the hardest part of this venture. You may want to try VG and/or PG and play a little with the mgs. Anyway, hope that helps and Good Luck!

Thanks for the heads up. I think i'm going to try cutting the juice with VG, which i can get from walmart according to other threads. The high nic level is great for me since i vape sporadically. I'll try to cut it down to 6mg for my wife since she will probably OD on the nic if i don't. The JC flavors seem potent so diluting them shouldn't be a problem.

I hate to say it. i'm not a fan of their flavors, but i have the rest of the sample pack to try out before i switch to a different vendor. They all seem really sweet tasting to me.

I did see the red oak series on their site, i am tempted to order the sample pack but i would like to find a flavor that i can piggyback the order on first. All of these boxes and packages being shipped to my house may backfire if my wife says "you are spending too much on this stuff"
Its easier to sneak a bottle of VG from walmart since it doesn't come via the mailman lol. At least until i can justify the purchases to my wife. The joys of being married..;)

LOL! I've never tried JC. Seems to be either love or hate with the members here, though. I do the same thing though with juices that are too strong or don't produce enough vapor - add some plain, no nic VG. Works wonders. If you don't like sweet, I would advise to steer clear of any Dekang juices in future too.

That's good to know. I'm used to camel filter analogs but its been 2 weeks for me with just my e-cig. I prefer it for many reasons but sweet flavors is not one of them. yuck, i tried the chocolate truffle JC with my wife last night but she liked it. I heard that there is a meatloaf flavor out there. sounds tempting lol.

So I cut a 18mg down to a 9mg with VG from walmart. My wife said it was better and it would work. Thanks for the advice as this helps me with my dilemma. On a side note it diluted the flavor when I added VG (as expected). I'll try ordering a 9mg directly and see if the flavor makes a difference for my wife and her harshness claim. The VG produces a lot of smoke and the throat hit is non-existant.

If by 501 you mean a branded Joye 510 that's a big part of your problem. These are for those who want a heavy throat hit.

I'm confused as to why it has to look like an analog "so we don't get pulled over while driving"????
