Halo G6 e-cig for a light smoker ?

Hello everyone
So after doing some research based on suggestions from you guys regarding buying a e-cig for my gf, I am contemplating on buying the Halo G6 cig-a-like with strength of the nicotine as 6mg/ml.

Facts:

1) My gf is a light smoker (assuming 4 - 5 cigs/day of Marlboro Ultra Light is considered light smoking).
2) When I discussed the e-cig option with her, she was more inclined to get something that looks like an analog.


Now I have the below questions for which I need your expert opinion:

1) Is the strength of 6mg/ml enough for her to quit smoking.. meaning will the experience compare to the analog she smokes ?
Note: I am a non smoker .. so i hv been a bit more conservative in considering the strength of nicotine liquid.

2) Since I consider her to be a light smoker, will she be able to quit smoking with just the Halo G6 ? Though I dont mind buying her a ego kit down the line

3) How long does one cartomizer in the G6 last, for the kind of usage of analog she currently has.
I am trying to gauge if one cartomizer last for a few days or will she need to refill it multiple times a day for her kind of usage.

Please let me know your opinion & help me make the right decision.

This should work fine for her as long as she is aware of a few things

She needs to know that vaping is NOT identical to smoking and that the eliquid will NOT taste exactly like a cigarette. This is sometimes the biggest obstacle to overcome with people that are being "persuaded" to try vaping to quit smoking as opposed to people who have decided on their own to try it.

edit - sorry I forgot about your last question - 1 carto is about the same as 4-7 cigarettes - if you want it to last longer get her 12mg strength and once she finds a flavor she likes the cartos can be topped off (add same flavor eliquid from a bottle) and the carto will last for up to 15 days - if the carto is vaped dry and she gets a burnt taste the carto is used up completely and will need to be replaced

1. I would try both 6 and 12 to see how she likes and what works.

2. The G6 is a good ecig. I used then for over a year. No regrets.

3. A carto will probably go for 2-4 days depending on how she adapts to vaping.

I vaped 20+ times a day and used 1, maybe 1 + a top up per day.

At this very moment, I am vaping on an 808 for a review in the UK. If your gf can vape just 6 times or something, she is going to get be fine for 2-3 days at least.

Then again, she might puff on it more than cigarettes (I did) and need more cartos sooner.

When you say vapped 20+ times .. is it analogous to 20+ cigarettes
meaning is 1 puff = 1 vap here or is it that you felt like vapping 20 times thru different times of the day and each time you vapped was = x puffs (till you got the kick you were looking for)

Yes. I SMOKED around 15 a day. I vaped on 20+ occasions taking somewhere between 8 and 12 puffs. Vaping at the normal 15 opportunities as smoking (same work breaks and evenings outside in the garden) wasn't quite enough.

I think that switching is a personal choice not one that someone can make for another. Is she involved in the choices or just saying that she will do it if you want her to? I started with a g6 my self and I was a pack a day person. One carto would last me about a day at first. Once they are refilled the tend to loose capacity and you also get used to the vapor. I started using 2 a day after the first week.

Mount baker vaper is a good choice. There are plenty of options on where to get juice, look for a local shop and take your girlfriend there so she can try a bunch of flavors to see what she likes. 50/50 is a good ratio. You may want to have more PG since it flows into the cartos better.

Don't shy away from Halo for juice. IMHO, it is some of the best.

Halo makes me itchy, to much PG. Some of their juices do have a nice flavors though.

I quit smoking with a G6, so I'd definitely recommend it. Try out J Vapes for e liquid. Good prices and very high-quality, lab-made e-liquids. A single carto will last her about 1-2 days, maybe longer if she doesn't vape that much. Good luck to her!
