I guess it would be my civic duty to write up a review of the VaporX and tell folks to steer clear... Is that appropriate?

Sure. There is a review section on the forum. If it works ok I'd say that, but the proprietary threading and the prices are a thumbs down for me.

The prices and proprietary threading are a thumbs down for me too... I'll try not to beat myself up over it too bad, but it doesn't settle very well either... Hey, on the plus side, I spent less on that thing over the 2 months of service I got out of it than I would have on cigarettes! I try to be a glass half full kind of guy... Hah

Not a bad idea.

I did the V2 thing when I started, 140 dollar kit and all. Amazing what I got for the last 140 dollars on equipment I spent compared to it. It did get me to quit smoking though.

Hell
THREAD NECROMANCER!
No really, sorry to do it, but I have something to add. I own a vapor-x xlt piece of crap as my only unit and the cartomizer is going crappy. Only enough money to either get plenty of liquid and a new tank and try and make it work. I got a mini vivi nova tank from myfreedomsmokes, the one that only uses 510 threads. The vaporx xlt battery is not 510 threaded BUT it is close, and I get it to thread and activate in a slightly crooked-looking but "durable" setup that reminds me of a wasp with the narrow waist haha.

This guy here: CE5 Mini Vivi Nova Tank - 2.0ml (Sold Out) - MyFreedomSmokes.com

It fits well enough to be worth it, this battery does have very high voltage and 1100 mah or whatever. 4.7 volts with a meter and fresh charge. Need to replace with at least an ego-c or something because I hate this nonstandard crap but it does work very well in a way with this tank. If the threads fit, it would be a very nice battery.
