Need Vision Extreme Stretch Leak Fix.

So, I got my new Vision Extreme Stretches today. I've opened two so far, and both work great. One has a slow leak at the bottom seal of the tube. I had thought that the design was like the Fluxomizers, which fit so tight, they create a great seal. These must be glued, since the leak is at the bottom. Either that, or there is a weird deign flaw in this one. I've never had a CE2 from GV leak before, so I consider myself pretty lucky. This is my first, and it's only a $3 piece.

Anyway, is there a way to replace the glue and/or fix the seal? If glued, what type of glue should I get? If not, is there a way to twist the tube and reform the seal, without breaking anything internally?

I'm going to order up some more, probably this week, so there is no rush. I would like to fix it though.

Eco mod glue. Though I haven't tried it. I got one as a sample and had the same leak within an hour. I should look at it closer.

hey looks close there is no oring on the base of the strech like the other visions and clearos. whats up with that....

I have used two now and traced the leaks to the silicon seal around the center post. Both posts seem to be bent a little so they are off center causing a leak around the side of the seal. One leaks so bad I had to quit using it. I have been very careful not to overfill and did not lay them on their sides. Looks like the center metal stem is actually slightly bent ( not centered in the bottom fitting. I attached a picture for you Bad because it's kind of hard to describe. The third one looks OK. Other than that they are awesome.

Hmmm... Mine is leaking from the seal on the side. Not from the center. I'll fill it with some fluid and try and grab a pic.

Looks like I got the seal fixed. I couldn't find anything but Super Glue, so I pulled the tube up, applied the glue and closed it. I let it try for 40 minutes, and just filled it with water. No leaks. Looking at how it all goes together, I wonder if rubber cement would be a great seal for these. It would allow you do glue it on, create a seal and still pull the tube off.

i don't think superglue is the best thing to use, I won't use anything on there that I wouldn't at the very least put in a fishtank.

I agree. I just did it as a test. I didn't think it was going to hold. I've had it holding water, since I put the tube back on. Go figure.

I am thinking that I may pick up some epoxy at Lowes, and some Rubber Cement, or some other type of glue, just in case.

i did glue my syringe tip back together with gorilla glue and its been holding, but i was desparate to fill my fluxomizers. but that really isn't touching the liquid.

some factories insist using glue, but i wont allow them to use any glue, so i have sent eco glue to all of them. most dont use it all , some want to for whatever reason, eco modders glue is 100% safe, safe to eat a whole bottle.

I like that you advertise that, but also don't like it because it makes me wanna try to ingest it. Maybe I'll add some ketchup and try XD

When I get a cE that has a bent or off center post I use the plunger from a 3ml syringe (without the rubber piece) to press gently on the silicon seal connected to the ceramic cup. This will seat the post better into the bottom fitting and if you are careful you can recenter the post so it seats correctly. I have gotten a few that slowly leak from the center post but this has always fixed them. Put them on a sealed battery and hold by the battery NOT the carto when pressing the seal or you risk pulling the plastic tube from the base and shooting the carto innards across the room.

I also found some very thin 8mm O rings so if the silicon seal at the bottom is a little small on the diameter I can just use one below and above the silicon seal and it will cover the gap and make the tube tighter. I avoid using glue ever, even a safe glue from a respected vendor like gotvapes, just a preference I guess. I would HEAVILY recommend against superglue, if you have to use something from the store just get some 100% pure silicon caulking.

I had one like that on a Vision Extreme. I had a VD that blew the coil, I recovered the seal but could never get it back in place. I made a couple jigs to get it back on the center post but could not get the seal to seat properly. Gave up and just considered it part of vaping!

How big of an issue is the vision extremes leaking? I was never fond of clearomizers since...well since they came out, but I am seriously eyeballing that cigarillo wrapped stingray....however if it leaks and its an auto...well that just will not work...

Well two out of the three I got had seals like this. The one pictured leaks too bad to be useable. The other has a slow leak. I have not filled the third yet but the center pin looks straight and centered on it, so I don't know if it will leak. Not a problem with manual batteries but big problem if you have an automatic. Not knocking the performance on these they work better than anything out there as long as you have a manual battery.
