Need wick/wire recommendations for first A7 Rebuild

Just ordered my first A7 Rebuildable Atomizer from Discount Vapers.

As the picture shows, the included 2.4 ohm coil is wrapped around multi strand wicking.


I would like to attempt to copy it for my first rebuild using this "machine screw technique"



My question is what guage wire and what size wicks should I start with? (my educated guess is 32g w/ 1mm multi wicks) Your recommendations are appreciated!

I'll be using the atty on an SVD.

I'm pretty new to dripping and rebuildables myself...and I also planned to follow this video by "vaping with Dave".

However by coil number 3, I found it much easier to wrap by hand directly on the wick. This way, you don't have to fiddle with trying to stuff a bundle of wicks in the coil you just made. Just try to keep your wraps evenly spaced and relatively close to one another. I also try to keep the tension snug on the wick but no so tight it squeezes the wick.

I've been wrapping 3mm wick from fasttech with 31ga kanthal a1.
