Howdy Y'all,
I've been vaping with a Nemesis with a Smok PBC V1 for years now. It's done it's job pretty well and kept me off cigarettes. I've always hated the lock ring and how everything tries to stick together even with Nolox. I use it most of the time in 350 mode so it's a little more pocket friendly. I've rebuilt the heads on my tanks a few times and I can get the flavor a little better, but they are what they are, basically a high volume Protank. I bought a DNA 30 clone and found out most of my flavors get worse at over 7 watts, also the first time I carried it in my pocket the 501 connector pulled out. I fixed it and put it in a drawer. I bought a Kato Square Box mod. It's built like a tank and I use it a lot. It's more pocket friendly than a Nemesis in 650 mode, but it's way heavy and the lock ring is worse.

I thought very seriously about getting an XXIX, but I already have a tube mod. Is it really worth spending the money to get rid of the lock ring and loosing a few mm in length? I've now been thinking about just getting a Kayfun lite + v2 to use on the mods I already have or just going with a Reo Grand. I'm cheap, but I don't mind spending it for a significant change for the better. Right now I don't make any clouds at all. I like it like that.

I want something;
Very durable
Very pocket friendly
Low maintenance
Convenient to use
Inconspicuous
More flavor would be way cool

A Genuine KFL+ v.2 is a great buy! and it is not a high wattage topper either.
The state we are at with mods is at borderline quality with the connectors and fire buttons being the weak factors.
I converted my clone Nemi with the Fat Daddy's magnet kit. It has made a big improvement for me, for that device. The lock is fine, just a pain to turn all the the time.
My opinion...Don't go nuts with the high dollar stuff, Try to find a shop where you can demo the device first..
My old Magneto is still rockin' a year later...Matter of fact - a genuine kfl is on it right now, in my left hand while I'm typing this.
I use a buck knife holster with the metal clip on my belt. I don't like the in the pocket thing.

A Reo would check everything on your list. The Grand is about the size of a business card on its face and the depth of a pack of cigarettes. The Mini 2.1 is even smaller.

I used to use kayfuns and the like on a variety of mechs (including a nemesis) and apvs. Great vape. I was happy. Tried a reo and my whole vaping world was rocked.

Essentially, it's dripping without the... dripping, so max performance with no hassle. A good variety of RDA's work on it (have to be bottom fed enabled), so no matter your preference, there's a setup to suit your tastes.

The #1 comment in the reo subforum from new users? "I don't know why I waited so long."

As far as tube mods go, both my Hcigar Nemis have been good other than there is no way of quickly screwing down the lock rings and the top cap on the copper one will lock up if you look at it wrong. I think I would rather have a recessed button and .1 pitch threads. The KFL+ v.2 seems to be the best of the lot from what I've read. The only thing that worries me is that it works on the same basic principle as a my Kanger heads. I really hate it when your busy doing something and it decides to start gurgling and weeping into the top cap. It worked great before I left the house but, I must not have got the wick absolutely perfect so now you have to blow it out after every couple of drags. I don't want to pay big money for an atomizer and still have that problem. I'm sure a KFL would have better flavor. I would think by design, a bottom feed, would be immune to this problem.

Who's making good clones of the KFL+ v.2 and a XXIX these days? After my DNA 30, I won't just go with cheap. The 501 connector was put in with a hot glue gun. It's too delicate to take anywhere.

I have an EHPro KFL+ v2, the one with two air holes. It's solid, seems well machined -- clean-cut deck parts, etc. -- and the threads are smooth, but I have no other KFL models or brands to compare it to... well, except a cheap "Rocket" from FT which I don't use.

Hassle free vaping is what I'm looking for, I guess. From what I've read, A Reo fits that description. I'm just wondering if some of the other option can be hassle free or are they enthusiast gear by design. I don't mind messing with my gear, I like it most of the time, but it seems like I have to spend a lot of time on my gear to feed my nicotine addiction.
