Hi,

Been vaping about a year (2 piece v-2. v4l kr808 standard batteries.
I am ready to move to a longer lasting battery.
What I am looking for:
1. kr808 manual threaded (no adaptor needed as I have large supply of v2 and v4l carto's both standard and cool.
2. 6+ hours between charges.
3. 4+ months life span before needing to replace batterys.
4. Vapor production and proformance remains constant over the life of battery.
5. 650 mah or 1000 mah or 13000 mah ? Not sure what this means.
5. After using up my standard carto's would like something that holds 2 mils of juice.
6. Cost between $40 and $50.

Not sure of all makes with kr808 threading that are available.

Please recommend what will suit my needs. All suggestions will be greatly appriecated. So tired of always recharging batterys.

I think you'll struggle to find bigger battery without using an adaptor. Most batteries seem to be 510, ego or 901.
The higher the mah, the longer the battery will last before needing a charge.
For carto's that hold about 2ml, you'll be looking at dual coil carto's, come in different sizes, the ego ones hold upto 5ml.

I have just got a Riva 510 and the batteries are 650 mah, which last 8+ hours and produces some good vapour. I'm currently using Turbo carto's, they only hold about 1ml but work great.

You could try something like this, it is variable upto 6v

The xl battery form V4L is a 380ma, Just think of it like gas tank in a car the more ma the longer you can vape between recharges.
I just moved up to the Echo battery's they are kr808 threading and auto.
They come in 650ma ,1100ma and 1300ma. I have the 650 and 1100 love them.

I can vape a day and a haft on the 650s,And over two days on the 1100.
Hope this helps.

I'm on the same track as yours, looking for fat/big kr808 battery, and so far I found out (thanks to the KR808 subforum here - there's a lot of information there + review) there are some recommended batteries:

That's my list so far, feel free to add. Hope you'll find the best battery!
PS: the "mah" = "power"; the biggest the number the longer the battery hold power. Your V4L/V2 is around 200-280mah.

I would go with the 5 volt GLV2. It is one of the best models on the market and is the only one that comes with a lifetime warranty because it is so well built. I know you can get three different threadings on it and I believe if you request it, he will use what ever threading you want:

Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor

Otherwise, you will have many fewer choices because of the 808 size and will have to use an adapter. But MadVapes sells stealth adapters for $3.00 that can hardly be seen.

I would def consider getting a 510 threaded ecig. That will give you a lot more options and you could always buy a stealth adapter nso you can finish the 808 cartos you have now. Then once your done with those youll have the option to use the wide array of 510 attys and cartos that are available.
I would check out the E-Power, kGo, and newer Rivas. All are 3.7V PVs and have 510 connections. Their all very affordable and give a great vape. Personally I like the kGo and E-Power the most and I use an E-Power. The biggest difference for the E-power is that it uses non-proprietary batteries, which are removable. E-Power batteries cost $4-6 compared to eGo/kGo/Riva batteries that are $14-20. Also everything on the E-Power is replaceable so its cheaper to maintain. The batteries are 1050mah and I get on avg at least a day on one battery. I also like that since the E-power uses removable batteries, its very easy to carry a spare, and if needed, unscrew the switch and pop in a fresh battery. With proprietary battery PVs like the eGo/kGo/Riva, to carry a spare you need to carry a second PV, and if a battery or switch needs to be replaced, you have to replace the whole unit. The kGo is also a really nice PV that gives a great vape, even though it uses proprietary batteries. The batteries are 1100mah so they last a long time as well. Its very affordable as well and lasts most people a full day on one battery.
I would def consider going with something like the kGo, E-Power, or Riva and then you can use an adapter so you can use the rest of your 808 cartos

I use an E-Power 14650 like Rob. These cylindrical (replaceable) Li-ion batteries last as long as any other they just cost a lot less to purchase than the custom battery/switch/tube combos. I've been running my 14650 batteries for almost four months now and they show no sign of getting tired. I remember some of the more experienced vapers saying their batteries last about a year before needing replacement. The more batteries you have in rotation the longer they last.

A 14650 gets me about 1.5 days with the E-Power before I need to recharge the battery. I have six batteries in rotation and charge them once on the weekend. I smoked about 1.5 packs per day.

The 14650 is rated 1050mAh. The general rule is every 100mAh is equal to about 1 hour of vaping time. There are all kinds of Li-ion cylindrical battery sizes in use for mods. The 18650 is a really fat one with about twice the capacity and size of the 14650. Another rule is that Li-ion batteries are good for 300 recharges although most vapers replace them long before that because the capacity starts to fall off earlier.

Kanger vGo is a contender as well ... I've seen 1000mah advertised ... there may be other sizes.
The vGo mega cartos look interesting too ... Kanger bottom coil design in a larger size.

You've got choices in native KR808, maybe not as many as 510 but all you really need is one if it fills the bill for you.

You could go with a Pigcig from lecig. http://lecig.com/LCPCSK2B.aspx

I
have one and its amazing. I was and still am a bloog maxxfusion user and a SI Volt user so I have tons of 808 cartos. It works with all the 808 cartos and doesn't need an adapter. It comes in 650maH to 1300maH. It's just like my volt just a REALLY big battery. Lasts me sometimes 2 days. (I have the 1300maH batteries). It is a little pricey but very worth the money.

With the e-power once the battery is installed is it sealed to prevent juice from getting into it??
As far as I can tell the battery for the E-Power 14650 is sealed from any e-liquid leaks. In four months of use I have seen no moisture reach the battery. I only use Smoktech stainless 510 cartos, which never leak. Some vapor will form on the battery contact of the 510 connector but I just wipe this dry with paper towel every time I refill a carto. This moisture has never appeared near the battery. The single 14650 battery is installed as easily as replacing a battery in a one-cell flashlight.

Yes the switch is sealed so juice does not get into the battery tube. I've had juice get into the switch threading more than once and have never had the slightest problem. I just jam a rolled up tissue into the threading and turn it a few times and it cleans up the connector and threads well.
There is a bigger ePower that holds a bigger battery like previously suggested, but personally I prefer the 14650. It's a good bit smaller so it's easy to carry around in your pocket, and even though the 14650 batteries don't last as long, they still last quite awhile. I always get at least a full day on one battery so for me I don't need them to last longer. They will last me about a day and a half, but I dont let them drain all the way down so I just charge them again before their fully drained. I just put in a fresh battery every morning before I go to work and it makes it easy bc I know I'll be good all day.
It's also really easy to carry a spare battery which is one of the things that made me get the Epower. With proprietary battery PVs like the eGo, kGo, Riva, to carry a spare battery you have to carry a second unit. With the Epower though you can just carry a second battery and if needed unscrew the switch and pop in a fresh one. Their about the size of a AA bu alittle longer so it's easy to carry one in your pocket or bag and then you never have to worry about being stuck with a dead battery. And like others said, the non-proprietary batteries def last longer. I've been using the same 3 Epower batteries for about 6 months and they still work awesome and hold their charge very well. I still get at least a full day on one battery, even with using them for 6 months, plus their cheap enough that you can buy a few and then you can always have a charged battery.
I also like that every part is replaceable on the Epower. With a kGo/eGo/riva, the tube, battery, and switch are all one unit, so if you need to replace a battery, or a switch fails, you have no choice but to replace the whole unit everytime. With he Epower everything is seperate and can be bought individually. So if a switch fails, you can buy just a switch and keep using your existing batteries and tube, same with if you need to replace a battery, etc. it ends up being cheaper to maintain in the long run, which I liked being right out of college, paying back school loans, and being on a budget.

Jiffy22:

Thanks for the tip on the pig cig. They were the only one I found other then Igo, and 808 ego, that were 808 threaded.
Would have probably gone with that ecig. But O the price.:(

The Epower still have some questions.

1 Where can I get the best price on a kit USA supplier?
2. Where can I get an adaptor to fit my 808's??
3. Will vapor or proformace deminish because of using an adaptor?
4. How offen have you had to replace the switch? And should I purchase one when I buy the kit?

I did find one on clearance for $28. But they are sold as is and no warrenty. Buyer beware. Reviews were all stating when they pushed the switch it fell inside. So I think I will skip that sale.
