I've been using a Green Smoke since Friday; first time ever vaping. This was prior to finding this site. I unwittingly bought a one-battery KR808-D2 kit......... obviously I need a couple more batteries. The GS individual batteries are very expensive ($50!!!!) and there are few other options for the KR808-D2. I am posting this because I found little info on ECF about this.

Other options which are compatible:
1) Red Dragon... somewhat cheaper
2) Bloog... just as expensive
3) Smoke 51... just as expensive
4) Vapure... used to carry but appears they don't have them any more
5) LeCig... has their brand (closing out, black only) for about $17 and "Vapriot" for $28.

I ended up buying a whole new "Vapriot" kit for $99 that included two batteries, a decent case, cartos, USB charger and wall adapter - all for the price of just two of the high-priced batteries. But here's what I like: The charger is a "smart" charger so you can't overcharge your batteries like you can with the GS one.

The other thing: they have adaptors so that you can use D1 or 501 (both way more common) cartomizers on your Green Smoke or other KR808-D2 device.

At LeCig an actual human answered the phone and was very accomodating.

I also ordered liquid from Velvet Vapors so I can play a little.....this is fun!

So, if you're like me and not ready to jump into the more advanced devices, there's hope.....just experiment.

I say return the Green Smoke if you are within the money-back period and get KR808D-1 aka Vapor King at Vapor4Life or the model Bloog sells or a plain KR808D-1 for simple colors.

KR808D-2 (aka Chinese wholesaler model E9) is the rip-off rebrander favorite cartomizer model. The rebranders usually also sell cartos that are harder to refill (hard-caps). And many of the sellers of KR808D-2 rebrands lie hugely about how long a cartomizer lasts. And it is incompatible with KR808D-1. Re KR808D-2 adapters - no - I think there is an adapter to use KR808D-2 cartomizers on a 510 or Ego battery. I have not seen the opposite.

KR808D-1 is the one with reasonable vendors sell, it is more supported, 901 atty can be used with it, 510 w/ an adapter, a fat battery version is available for more battery life and power (Elegant Easy at CigEasy).

If you really want to stick with the KR808D-2 then see if AZSMokeFree.com has any batteries for it. They are the only normal multibrand US vendor I know of who carries stuff for KR808D-2

Great advice and thanks for the information. I'm well within the 30-day period.

You are correct about how long the cartomizers do NOT last. This is why I thought I would fill a few of my own. If anything it will give me a chance to try some different flavors.....trying to be positive here.

Given the adaptors available I should be able to make this switch pretty easily. Thanks again.

Some other good hardware sites are LiteCigUSA.net, Liberty-Flights.com, Cignot.com, MadeVapes.com, and for nice colors etc of KR808D-1 stuff Vapor4Life.com and bloogplanet.com

My favorite juice vendors are FreedomSmokeUSA.com (who just added 60+ new flavors - and not sure if it's still on but they were having a special 30% off flavored juices with code flavors, else use freedomsmokeusa for 10% off whole order), Velvet Vapors for some yummy sweet flavors (I adore their Vanilla Almond Tobacco and their Raspberry Gingerale), and Backwoods Brew for complex handmixed tobacco flavors.
