Needing higher nic, but the burning...

I just ordered a couple LR 510 attys, I've got an Ego, and njoy 510 auto. I've done nic levels from 12-30 mg (mostly 24mg) and nothing seems to cut it. I'm still seriously craving an analog from time to time, especially during those normal "smoking" periods like letting the dog out, or just before bed. I enjoy vaping, and smoking is pretty disgusting tasting at this point (had a few puffs off of one, other than that it's been over a week.)

Here's where my issue comes in though. I feel like coughing up a lung when I take a vape off of 24mg liquid. It's way worse on 30mg. It gets better as I vape more during the day, to the point where I can't feel it nearly as bad at night. But in all, it's very harsh, feels worse than when I'm inhaling smoke the way it burns (chemical, not heat).

Does this happen to everyone? Will I have that worse with the LR attys? Is there something that I'm doing wrong that makes it burn like this? And does it get better over time? I'd like to up my nic intake to 36mg (regular atty) or use 24mg with the LR atty, as people say that makes the nic intake a lot stronger for the same nic fluid. With the chemical burning sensation, I don't think I'd be able to ever actually use 36mg nic fluid.

Oh, and I've tried removing PG from the equasion (FSUSA sent me a 10ml bottle of vanilla tahity with my last order that was very tasty, 0%PG, 100%VG, though it was 24mg and still burned just as bad as the others) and going 100% VG, but that hasn't really helped at all. CLOUDS of vapor though :D.

When you take a drag, pull the vapor into your mouth and then inhale it from there. Don't draw it directly into your lungs.

If you're already vaping that way, try taking smaller drags. I know some people have to sort of work up to full drags.

The LR attys will make it seem like you're vapig at a higher voltage. It makes the vapor warmer and more intense. You'll have to try it to see if it bothers you or not. I don't care for LR attys, but that's just me. Lots of people love them.

Just put in an order for vanilla bean, and mint. Hopefully one of those will be smoother. I would assume ejuice usa is smoother because they are 100% VG, but I also had 100% VG from FSUSA. Have you ever tried 100% VG from another vendor Parallex?

Yes, and it's not the same. I don't know much about their ingredients or whether than makes a difference; all I know is how it works for me. Hopefully, it's what you are looking for. How do you vape?....high voltage? If so, that might be part of your issue.

While everybody's experience will be different, I found that I had to lower nicotine levels with the low resistance set up. For me, the high-voltage simulation with the LR and a 5V passthrough were what pushed me over into the world of non-smoker, and it may due it for you, too. The increased warmth and amount of vapor was the right thing at the right time to help me eliminate the last two cigarettes I couldn't give up. I can't use them continuously anymore and after a couple days went back to a straight Riva with standard atomizers/cartomizers, still without the twitchy need for a cigarette. I occasionally use the LR atties/cartos now, and I notice that the same level of nicotine will hit me harder with the LR setup than it does with the standard 3.7.

I've been vaping standard voltage, stock everything on the Ego until now. I'm bumping up to an LR atty in a few days when my order comes in with the new parts.

Looking forward to the Ejuice order, good to hear that it's different from other vendors in it's "smoothness".

Good to hear. In fact I think one of your other posts was what pushed me to pickup the LR attys on this last order. It's my hope that it'll bump the nic levels when need it, without making it to harsh to vape on a regular basis. Anything I should be aware of with an LR that is different from a standard? I've heard to vape shorter bursts, give more cooldown time between vapes, and make SURE to keep the atty wet (dunno where I saw it here, but "a wet atty is a happy atty").

If the vanilla isn't what you are looking for.....I'll take it off your hands. Can't say the same about the mint....,,,

I hate all mint; no matter the shape, form, or size. Blech

The intent was actually menthol, but nothing else looked good on there so I went for a mint. They mention menthol in a few places, but it's not actually in their flavor list. Was hoping there was a place to stick comments, but no area to send comments to them either. Guess I'm spoiled by FSUSA... :D

I now warn friends who want to try my PV not to take a full analog-type hit. And my first few hits in the am is also not full hits. I use 14-18mg in my carts.
Plus, it took a few weeks for me to stop craving analongs completely, especially if I or my friends had them around. Even yesterday when my bro was over, I craved one until the smell hit me and reminded me what they really taste like.

Yeah, his web site isn't much....but his juice is freakin' awesome. I just unpacked a bottle of Chocolate and Cinnamon Roll. Good grief they are fantastic. It usually takes a week to get my order, but what I get is well worth the wait. Send Mike an email ejuiceusa@gmail.com and see if he'll add menthol for you. Let me know how it goes...crossing my fingers for you.
