Needing some help picking an ecig

I am 19, and I don't smoke cigarettes, but i do smoke cigars. I am not a hard time smoker, i smoke occasionally. I like the phillies grape and strawberry cigars, and i also like the black and milds. I like flavored stuff.

I bought an ecig a while back (dont remember the brand) but the taste was horrible. I ended up sending it back for a full refund. I don't like to have the smell on me when smoking cigars, also i guess an ecig is healthier.

I am not sure what i need to buy really, so can someone help point me in the right direction?

Here's some advice, you're 19 years old...stay away from nicotine and whatever you chose, chose it with 0 nic.

A kr808d-1 is very convenient, and is sold by many different companies like v4l and vapornine.. the taste is very personal though. I have found eliquidplanet's essence line to be quite accurate to the taste of a cigar, particularly cigar-1.

yeah i wouldn't mind getting it with 0 nicotine, or maybe with a little bit of nicotine. I just like the taste of a grape/strawberry philley cigarello.

What kind of ecig should i buy? what brand of flavors and stuff, also where can i get them? i know some gas stations carry ecigs

no im not really concerned about that, i dont want it huge really, but taste is the main factor. I guess it needs a good vapor production too. I don't know if its best to get one with a cartomizer or with the carts and atomizers seperate or what.

I'd suggest an Ego or Riva in that case, good battery life and about the size of a smallish cigar. You can use 510 cartomizers or cartridges or drip with them. I'd also recommend an LR 510 or LR 306 attomiser (the 510 if you want to use carts/cartomizers or the 306 if you want to drip/dip).

if you decide to get an e-cig, stick with zero nic juice. there's no point in getting addicted to nicotine just for a taste.

whats the pros and cons of getting the liquids and refilling your own compared to a cartomizer? is it cheaper to refill or what? better vape?

is it very hard to do? so your saying get a vira ( i like the looks of that one better) in a 306? what flavors would you recommend? the vira, what do they cost at like a mall or some place local?

If you mean a Riva I doubt you'll find one local, many online vendors sell them with the cheapest being from China at eastmall.net.

I'd buy 2 or 3 spare LR 510 attys with it as they can last from a week to over a month, I've had one going for 5 weeks now.

Cartridges can be refilled many many times. I'd recommend 80%PG/20%VG to start with and for a light smoker 12mg should be sufficient, if it's too strong you can cut it down with some VG which is available at grocery stores and chemists.

Carts can be refilled until they taste yucky, then I get a new one. PG is propylene glycol, it is a food safe carrier for the flavor. VG is vegetable glycerin, it is food safe as well and produces a thick vapor. The PG/VG mix is the ratio of those two in the juice. For example I usually vape a 80/20 PG to VG mix. The PG is thinner in viscosity than VG and the mixing give the juice a a thicker consistency and I get good thick vapor production. Some people are allergic or sensitve to PG so they opt to go with VG instead. I am more sensitive to VG. If I vape 100% VG I end up sounding like Janis Joplin after an all night screamfest but I can use a little in my juice no problem. That is a personal thing that you have to figure out for yourself. As far as flavor is concerned, Vapor Bomb does a custom mix where you can mix up to 3 flavors to get a mix that tastes good to you. Being a cigar person, you could start with a strong tobacco flavor like dark vapure and add srtawberry or raspberry or maybe a fruit flavor with vanilla or chocolate and create a flavor that tastes good to you. We all have our faves. Then you can choose the 0 nic option and ur done! Give it a shot. Let us know what you invent! Welcome to the forum.

I think there's an retailer that sells the riva for $50 shipped vapor junction I think could be wrong. Janty sells ego kits with a 10 day warranty for $55.95 and you could buy a warrantied atomizer with it and just send it back when it dies and have them get you a new one. The warrantied atomizers come with a 6 month warranty and janty is good for it. For flavors i'd reccomend anything from StrictlyEjuice.com, Flavor Shop! you could mix some Cohiba with a fruit flavor of your choice to get the same effect as a cigarello. Also check out FreedomSmokeUSA they carry a cigar flavor and fruit flavors you could just do the same thing. Janty World - Janty World

I also highly reccomend you try a drip tip or blue foam from www.strictlyejuice.com tons more vapor less topping off an only .75 cents. Dont buy prefilled carts they taste like garbage.


Also if you decide to go with 0 mg liquid which i suggest you try and see how it works out for you since you never get a buzz from a flavored cigar anyways unless it's a primetime. Try tasty vapor doublers. They come in 120oz for $15 and under customize your liquid you can choose flavors to mix so you can mix tobacco with fruit flavors and it will already come premixed.
