Nemesis Clone button heats up

Hi All, I am using a good Nemesis clone with an IGO-W5 and a Sony battery and a few days ago started having some issues with it. The bottom button is getting very hot and after a few puffs, the bottom just gets hot and I get little to no vapor. Anyone know what the problem might be? How can I fix this, only had it for a week and a half or so. Please let me know.

First, stop using that setup until you find the problem and correct it. Don't want your batt to vent or worse.

Check your connections. Take the whole thing apart and check for debris etc and clean up the threads. Next, you should check your atty. If you have a good multi meter or ohm reader, double check your build for shorts etc. After that, you may need to try a different atty. I have issues with one of my attys shorting on some of my mods. I decided to shelf that atty and use others instead. Beyond those words of advice, see what others say, and hopefully you get up and running again shortly.

Good luck!

As crxess stated...first list the resistance of your build...go ahead and take apart your firing button and clean it out. If you do a google search on cleaning your nemesis mod..or youtube it, it's out there....
there is short some where in firing pin...also, are you using the stock spring that came with clone..those are not really good with super sub ohm builds...you might trying magnets or head over to your hardware store to look for good brass spring etc.

It's not because it's a clone. It may be because there is a fault in your clone, but not because it's a clone. I own 2 cloned nemmys and they have worked fine. Even though there is much higher quality control with authentic mods, it doesn't guarantee there will be no flaws or issues. My advice is get a mod that has solid reviews and suits your needs and preferences for looks, regardless of its authenticity. There are tons of reviews on tons of mods, clones and authentic alike. Do your homework before buying and you should be fine. I love my nemmys by the way.

Just wanted to give everyone an update, I purchased the switch magnets and extended contacts from fatdaddyvapes.com and cleaned every peice, polished and installed the new items. It is working beautifully now and I am not getting any heating on the button. Thanks to everyone for the advice and if you have a nemesis I strongly recommend the magnets and extended contacts from fatdaddyvapes.com. IT'S WORTH IT.
