So I just got my Nemesis clone in the mail today and I've been playing around with it learning how to take it apart and put it together and whatnot. I am a little confused by the firing button and the locking ring though. Those little airholes only show when the button is locked? I am not sure where to set my button and locking ring. If anyone could help, that would be great. I have posted pics to help describe what I mean.

Should it be pretty far down, where you can see the gold threads like this?

Should there be a small gap between the base and the button like this?

Or should it be pretty high up like this?

If anyone could help or possibly post pictures of their Nemesis button when it is in firing mode that would be most appreciated. Pictures of it locked wouldn't hurt either... I just can't tell where to set it... there are so many options. Thank you, and vape on.

Button screws all the way in, Snug not Tight. This holds the battery against the top pin.

Notice the Switch threads have slots/grooves. Those allow venting when in the unlocked position.

If the button seems to screw in to far, remove the thin ring. This ring is for spacing while using a kick module.

Firing mode - lock fully up
Lock mode - lock fully down

When its unlocked the ring would (naturally) be all the way at the top, when locked it will be all the way down and will .... up against the fire button.

The amount of button(ie that gap) exposed with be determined by a combination of factors, mainly what type of battery you are using (ie flat top, vs nipple top) and the amount your adjustable 510 is screwed in/out to accommodate for different atty's.

The best course of action is to loosen the adjustable 510 pin, screw your atty on the top cap till flush, tighten the adjustable 510 pin, then instal topcap, put a battery in the tube then instal the switch and tighten it till its just snug.

*EDIT* As crxess mentions you will rarely use the tiny silver beauty ring (unless kicking), and take note when removing said ring that its better to pinch the ring (outside and inside, narrow ways) then to grab the circumference and try to unscrew it that way.

Sounds good thanks guys. Can it auto fire if its a bit too snug?

I saw this ring in a nemesis breakdown video but can't recall what or where it is. What should I look for?

*edit* I guess its that one thin shiny band around the middle that doesn't fit in with the rest?
