Nemesis switch lock ring

I am really thrilled with my Nemesis. But sometimes the switch lock ring tightens up when it is in the open position to where when I try to loosen it the body loosens. I try not to over tighten it and swabbed some silicon on the threads and contact point but it doesn't seem to help.

HELP!

I was having the same problem also. I found that if you grip the lock ring loosely and try to turn it, that almost always works.

I have found the same as DannyBoy.
That lock ring is so thin that if you are trying to unscrew it, and gripping it tightly, it actually is flexing and making it tighter against the threads.
I hope that makes sense.
I very loose grip on the ring and I have had no problems.
When I first got my nemmy, I thought something was wrong with the lock ring, but it was just my massive manly grip I had on the thing.

yup. dont squeeze. dont even really grip it. just place your fingers on the locking ring, and spin the mod with your other hand.

Bump this ! Just got my Nemesis and had same issue.Grip loose and locks perfect

I just spin flick the ring and it spins open or shut.

(After I learned not to grab it and turn it)
