Just got my Nemesis from VB. I am trying to run this in 18350 mode with a kick using the kick ring and bottom tube with the logo. The only way i can make it fit is to have the switch on the last few threads... Am i missing something?

Try the short extension ring without kick ring. The kick ring isn't required for using kick in every single configuration. There are also small space adjustments possible with the contact pin screws at both ends. But I'd def look for a way to cape without your switch screwed all the way out.

On a closely related subject, I seem to have lost the metal grain of rice- shaped pin that slots into the nemesis switch assembly. Anyone know if I should care??

ah. I'm now charging the 350. from your pic which I didn't see on my tablet, the threads on your switch assembly are showing as you said. I would take it out, put the bottom pin in all the way down, and then insert the switch assembly all the way in with no battery in. Then you know you are in the shortest position possible on the bottom end. Much easier to fuss with gaps in the middle of the tube or at the top. My pic would only show that no brass threads are showing, and about three mm of space between bottom of locking ring and top edge of the fire button...

Not well... I cant get it to fire hardly. It works fine with out the kick. Worked nice when it did fire. Trying to triuble shoot but i dont have anything else that will fit the kick.

I had to loosen the screw on the switch a couple threads to get a little more throw when using a Kick. Which is strange, because like you say, it's a non-issue without the kick. That was using a button-top 18650. A few turns on the screw and I was back in business.

Quick walk thru:

Remove top
Loosen center pin
Install top device and seat
Snug center pin

Loosen Switch
Install top to thin ring
Install thin ring to 18500(short) tube with kick installed
Install short tube to Logo Tube(18350 Base tube)

Remove switch
Insert 18350(flat or button top)
Adjust Switch pin as needed
install Switch

Raise locking ring and test fire
Button should stop 1/16-1/32" from lock ring

If gap is wide - Screw switch pin down
If button bottoms against lock ring - adjust switch pin out(longer)

These things are Mechanical - If everything touches, it fires!

Imagine a road course. No matter how many turns, you always end back at the beginning. That is DC power.:D

hi guys,

could you link the Kick you got, and or maybe even where you bought it?

I would like to get a Nemesis (being it clone or original) and install a kick in it. Now since the Nemesis would be my first Mech Mod, I am pretty new to Mech Mods.

Up to right now, I am using a Provari pre-owned, and before that I had a Segeili

Thanks in advance and for starting this thread.

I have the opposite issue. The "beauty ring" even though I don't like it only works with my x350 AWs. With my Panny PDs (flat top), I have to get rid of the ring and the switch has a huge throw.

The only time I have had an issue with it not firing (after adjustments like crxess stated) is when the firing pin becomes loose. I have always tightened the pin down so it doesn't loosen up.

I use a fasttech clone nemmy. I got my smoktech kick from Madvapes. I also have an evolve kick but can no longer find it. I believe the evolves are 40 bucks and the smoktech and siegles are around 15 bucks. Fasttech has one for around 8 bucks but delivery from there is super slow.

Which one is better? It is a personal decision. You can also get the evolve and smoktech from other places or siegles (however it is spelled) for that matter.

I got it. The thin "beauty ring" was stuck on the 650 tube.. now it fits correctly
Yeah, very understandable mistake. I wish every clone came with a sticker on that little 5mm ring that said:

I'm primarily for making your Nemesis look pretty. I can only be used with extended length pin(s) or in the very unlikely circumstances that both the atomizer extends the 510 connector deep into the tube and you're using a very lengthy battery. Occasionally I'm needed if you use a kick and the combination of battery & kick is slightly too long. Otherwise don't use me.

It'd save so many problems for new users.

Glad at least you figured it out and got the mod working properly.
