Yes the HCigar is a 1-to-1 clone. So it's just a matter of who gets ripped off. You can be the ripper, and buy the clone, or you can be the rippee and buy the origional. Sooner or later manufactures will figure out that if they price their stuff properly, no one will bother to clone it. They might use the design, but there would be no reason to clone.

BTW, even my coffee cup has a copyright on it. (hint)
I, if it were me that posed that I wouldn't have changed a thing, took the same stance on the clone vs original.....there's some pretty mean competition now so we might see some changes on those prices soon.

Didn't you say your HCigar had a tight switch?

Tight as in it would not Press when received. After complete dis-assembly, 15 minute Ultrasonic Bath and rebuilding with a bit of Jacks lube, it is about the same as my second FT Neme switch.

I'm also thinking Bad Ninja is referring to when locked. None of mine wobble when locked. None should.

I have 2 clones. One from Vape Royalty and one from Kidney Puncher. The one from from VR had Hcigar on the box, the new from KP had Nemesis on the box. Both hit like the freight train engraved on the bottom. Biggest difference I found was that the one from VR had better machining on all parts, deeper engraving and the switch for it was better (the KP one had crunchy dark looking spring) though I've now upgraded to a magnetic switch which fixes that issue. And both compared to the original hit just as hard.

both kick rings of my nemies were locked tight when I purchased. The Vape shop employee took care of it. I
don't use kick rings so I don't care really. It seems like more people have problems with SS versions.......such as lock rings getting stuck, wobbling issues, etc etc.... Can someone explain why?

SS switch mating involves SS post sliding against sides of brass hole. A rough hard SS post will never wear into the soft brass; the SS will just keep filing away the brass. Good idea to polish the SS post if factory neglected to do so.

Brass switch mating involve sliding of male and female soft brass parts; they can wear into each other even if machining is a little rough.

My 101vape nemesis would be a 10 of 10 except for:

Switch does the click unless center press.
Body threads are cut a little loose such that fingernail will catch on body seam.
Came w/o magnet but that is a very easy fix.

Don't think you can count lack of Magnets as that is option/upgrade and not a standard, even on the original.

So what is priced properly and a fair price? People clone $50 Smoketek magnetos. Having said that I don't have a problem with clones as long as they are clearly clones and do not use their branding.
