Anyone have issues with these magnets breaking?
I picked up two sets from the local vape shop for $10 per set...seems quite expensive for about $0.10 worth of magnets but whatever, most places online have them for around that and it is a nice little shop.
Point is, last night while I was doing some switch comparisons between the real Nemesis and hcigar's clone they managed to jump together and one of the magnets actually broke in half. Vape shop is about 30 minutes away but the family & I were heading into town anyways so I stopped in to return the broken one. They gave me a new one with no problems, put it into the little ziplock bag with the other one and I left.
I get home a little while ago and one of the @%#?!'ing magnets is broken again! Now I'm p***ed, mainly because even though I'm sure they would replace it, it's not worth the time and gas to drive an hour round trip for a $5 overpriced magnet.
Are they all this crappy, or are there better ones out there? I'm probably going to be putting a parts order in at Atmomixani after payday and they have magnets for €7.00 but are they decent quality?

...and my testing between switches, it seems if I simply put the real Nemi bottom button on the hcigar switch it works extremely well. Everything was pretty much 1:1 except for the button itself which is where things break down and gives the hcigar such a crappy switch. So, yeah I said I'd never order another clone however, I did just order the hcigar copper clone. Which I'll just order a real Nemi switch and top cap for it :D

They will Break every time if you let them slap together. EVERY TIME
They are a thin porous ferrous metal, extremely brittle.
They must be slid apart to the side and not pulled.
Learn, install, leave in the switch.

Did you pull the HCigar switch completely apart and thoroughly clean? There should be little to NO difference in performance. I cleaned mine in an ultrasonic bath and saw quite a change in the cleaning solution as well as a much better performing switch.

I bought 10 of the nemesis magnets at supermagnetman for $8. Now they are .75 each.

SuperMagnetMan

I had one break in the mod within a day or two. Replaced that one and had no further issues in either one of the two nemesis' I have them in. I have read on here that many of the magnets out there are very brittle. I still have the other 5 in the drawer just in case.

Thanks for the link T, I knew I'd seen them cheap somewhere but didn't want to deal with shipping. For most stuff I'd rather order online but I also really want to help support my local B&M. They really are a good and helpful shop.
I'll be ordering a 10pk for sure. The link you posted looks like the exact ones right?

Yes they are the exact size as the real deal. I figured I would have back ups for my backs and glad I did.

Unfortunately I don't have a vape shop near me because I live in a rural area. Well I say that one just opened up about 25 miles away this month. So I have to go visit them to see what they have. Good luck
