Nemesis mod clone

I want to buy a mod (maybe for summer, before I make a complete research and feel myself confident to start building my own coils and having a mechanical mod) but i can't really afford a 200+ mod, I know many of you hate cloning and that stuff, sorry for that; but I wanted to see if anyone here have bought a Nemesis clone and if there's much difference between the clone and the real one, also if you have faced any problems with it :vapor:

Nemesis clone here, no problems as long as you give it a good clean every once in a while, but you have to clean every single mech ever made regularly anyways.

I absolutely love mine! The only other mech that I want is a stingray black copper.

It looks so good! Is it from Hcigar? I've heard many people had problems with their springs, also what battery are you using with it? :p

The Hcigar clones, and more specifically the ones from 101vape will likely come with a weak spring, while waiting for my magnets i solved the problem with an $.89 spring from Ace Hardware that i cut down a bit.

I ususually run it in 18500 and 18650 mode since i subohm (only .8ish though), and dont have any high (enough) drain 18350's yet. Honestly, in 18350 with a dripper, it almost feels tiny.

I have bought many clones including the recent copper and black chromed ones on Fasttech and got to be honest, if you clean them up, adjust them right, stick the magnets in the switch, whether or not it matches up to the original, it is still by far one of the better mechanical mods to start off with. FastTech have started a Nemesis war this last week bringing out several clone versions and accessories, I use the mixed Nemesis clone as my main vape and nothing in my arsenal of nicotine delivery comes close to its simplicity, ease of use, looks and hit.

If however you want an original, there is the good old Nemesis but there is the Neme which is a smaller version of the Nemesis and a little wonder as well. The original comes in different flavours including the very nice Kalafan version but to be fair let your eyes be your judge and your pocket be your guide :)

The Nemesis is a great mech. I have compared the Hcigar and the one from Fasttech. The one from FT is better than the Hcigar in some ways and the HCigar is better than the Fasttech version in some ways. The magnet thing has been oversold to the public. It will help with a spring issue but not rough area in the switch issue. I advise to wait until you get the mod and see if they are needed. I'm not saying you won't need them, you very well could, especially if you buy an Hcigar version. It just seems senseless to buy them if you don't. My Nemesis has never had an issue other than needing an occasional tightening of the bottom contact screw.

5 Nemesis here - All clones
Will likely grow to 10 by summer. I like the idea of dedicating my Tanks and having everything ready to roll.
Nemesis is an excellent Mod - Original / FT clone / HCigar Clone - All nice
Plenty of configurations possible and mix and match for individuality.

I prefer Magnet switch setup. Nothing to do with a fix. Just works nicer and feels better to me.

I have the hcigar nemesis clone and it had a "bad spring" as well... Completely fell apart on me. After researching how to fix a nemesis spring, I discovered that my "bad spring" appeared to be just poor assembly of the final product. There are actually two springs inside the switch. I forced the larger spring around the hole that it sat up against (sorry poor description), which kept that spring snug in place, once I managed to reassemble the entire switch, the modified spring actually reduced the total length of the throw of switch... it is super smooth on all edges and has no need for a magnet.

I did the same thing to mine, the outer spring on the cut groove on the threated part of the switch. I usually run mine with magnets cause I like the feel of the switch with them better than the springs, but I tend to switch it around when I give it a good cleaning just to change things up a bit.

I have two Nemesis clones. A Tobeco, and Hcigar they both work awesome! Definitely get the magnetic upgrade. I have had no problems with the springs, but the magnets are awesome! Also I would highly recommend the Sony US 18650 VTC4 GREEN 30amp batteries, and the vapesafe 2cent safety fuse just until you become proficient at wrapping coils. I use my Nemmies every day with a Kayfun at .7 ohms, and I must say I am loving it!
Make sure you get a multimeter, and something to check your ohms!!!
