Quick question for folks who have both an authentic Atmomixani Nemesis and the hcigar Nemesis clone. Is the authentic switch much better than the clone? I know there are a bunch of comparisons out there, and most say the clone is just as good if not better than the authentic. But me personally, I find the clone's switch to be a bit annoying. Very crunchy, and occasionally gets itself caught up when I try to press it.

So is the authentic version's switch worlds better? If so, I'll probably pick one up when I get a chance. Thanks!

I have both ive found the real button to be a lot smoother my hcigar clone it seems like the pin in it catches alot if i dont hit it dead center and voltage drop clone vs real is about .5 better on the real one both r real nice devices but i love my real one my clone is my work mod since if i drop it ill get over it!!

If you did not take it apart and clean everything as soon as you got it - BEFORE trying it - you likely did damage to the switch. I have purchased 7 and only one has issues. The first one I bought and just dropped a battery in to test it out.
I instantly scratched the Brass with shavings riding the switch barrel.

I have not seen a perfectly clean Nemesis out of box yet.

One last note - my 3 Brass Nemesis switches are buttery smooth.

Really, the workmanship on the real nemesis is better than a clone. The threading on the real nemmy is better than the clone, the engravings are better, the switch works better than the clone. I have 4 legit nemmies and have yet to experience the "crunchiness" that is claimed. I know not everyone can afford to spend the $$ on a legit mod. For purposes of just being able to use it and have a decent mod, the clone is fine. If you are one of those people who are into quality, then get the original.

For what it's worth, I believe that you can relieve some of the "crunchiness" by switching out the spring entirely and replacing it with neodymium magnets. I can't say enough about the improvement. Not that the nemesis was bad by any means, but with the magnets, it is buttery smooth. I am fairly certain this will solve your issue. Happy vaping!
