I was thinking of CLS meets Latakia however the ratio of Latakia would have to be low or it will overpower the CLS. I just like how smokey Latakia is. CB in place of CLS would peak my interest as well.

For your taste preference Dunhill "Nightcap" adds a splash of Latakia to Virginia and Perique for a truly robust, masterful tobacco blend that translates quite well into NET. Mixed in low percentages with CLS you'd have smoked custard.

I have some Seattle Pipe Club's Mississippi River that I extracted about 6 months ago that I have stashed away. I was letting it meld and waiting for a special occasion to use. I may try and nail down a halfway decent custard and see what happens with it.

...have you tried Radioactive? :)

I haven't, nor have I tried ACB but am ~ patiently ~ awaiting the fresh batch. I prefer caramels, vanilla and creams with NET and have been eyeing ACB for some time. I have mixed Frenilla, CB and CLS with concentrated NET and the results were delicious.

Fixed that, ordered 60ml of ACB and Radioactive this morning.

Received the ACB today and fresh out of the mail box I can already tell it's a keeper. Smooth but with ample TH, the flavors meld together seamlessly forming a masterful blend of rich, gooey caramel goodness. Reading the reviews I was expecting a very light almost nonexistent tobacco presence and figured I would be adding NET in order to kick it up a notch. While I may tweak it every now and then to suit my mood, in truth it's - extremely - good as is. Taste is subjective but, for me, this is the best caramel I've tasted and the tobacco element is neither overbearing nor anemic. Kudos

Let it go to 6 months or so and it really starts to shine...interesting to see you over here Str8!

Radioactive is really where it's at. Additionally, let your Radio go to 6 months or so and it fully develops!

Hiya Soignee, yep every now and then I sample commercial NET, mainly hybrid (flavored), NET from A tier manufacturers. Whether it is macerated NET, TA or TE based makes no difference to me as long as the tobacco presence is well defined and melds together with the other flavors properly. This time around I ordered thirteen new NETs from five different manufactures. By "new" I mean new to me, It's been a year or two since my last round of vendor samplings. Most I will PIF to my younger friends, very few get a space in my aging cabinets. Nicoticket is one of only three commercial vendors to make it there. Both ACB and Radio will be aged and periodically sampled every month or two over a years period of time. My instinct tells me both will turn into liquid gold around the six month mark, only time will tell if I'm right. Problem is, this 60ml bottle of ACB isn't going to make it that long. I'll need to reorder enough to remedy that and ensure I have an ample supply to "play with" as I've already envisioned several potential tweaks and combinations.

You and Stacy1 should drop by the extraction forum sometime, I've a new project going that might be of interest.

Great read! I'll head over tonight when I'm done with work. Season is ending soon so I can crank up some projects again.

Hi Str8! We haven't met yet, but we share the love for ACB. I just wanted to tell you that your inclination is correct -- give it some age and it will blow your mind! Lay in a stash while you can -- tomorrow at midnight (I believe) ACB will no longer be the special Flavor of the Week. Right now, in case you missed it, there is 20% off with code "ACB20". I am a fickle vapor who switches flavors many times a day -- ACB is the only liquid that has remained a constant in my daily rotation since it's debut in June, 2014. Not one bit tired of it, either! Nice to meet you and so nice to see how many new people ACB has brought into the NT fold. Enjoy!

Pleasure's all mine Nanny22. I "encountered" the Virus, CB, CLS and Frenilla a couple years back and while not an ADV for me the obvious quality and flavor of those placed Nicoticket on my watch list. I'm somewhat of an ardent NET enthusiast but prefer mine flavored with caramels, vanilla, crèmes and such. I did get the ACB at 20% off and will be placing another order today, it's that good.

A NET fan, I flavored ACB with several different tobacco extracts that I thought would complement it's flavor profile. One of them married up - exceptionally - well, Sutliff's "Voodoo Queen" a medium bodied blend of Virginia, Perique, Latakia and Burley. Adding just 4% extract moved the tobacco presence forward without infringing on ACB's decadent silky caramel flavor which is still the star of the show.
