So all I've ever smoked is cigars and I love they way I feel during and for the hours afterwards from the nicotine, so I figured an e-cig would be a good way to get the nicotine without freezing my ... off out on the front porch in the middle of a minnesota winter. I didn't really do much research but I had seen advertisements for blu cigs and decided to get their starter kit. Any thoughts on these as a beginner e-cig?

I'll have to give that e-cigar a try eventually, but $40 on a disposable unit doesn't agree with me at the moment. I think I'm gonna give the blu cig a try, after reading the reviews it seemed people weren't pleased with the vapor production, but blu recently switch to cartomizers and they are advertising better vapor production so I'll report back after trying it out, it should get here tomorrow.

Give us an update when you get it, we'd love to be able to say yes to blu ;)

You can send the Blu kit back for a refund if you don't open any of the inner packages .. just open the box and get the RMA inside (on the back of the packing slip) and send it on back if you can't cancel your order ... You will get a refund. I have a Blu, and I like it but if you are a cigar smoker, I don't think you will ...

Welcome to ECF, fellow Minnesotan :)

Well, however much you are going to spend on that Blu kit, you could do much better with regards to volume of vapor, and flavor. I would heed the warnings and shop around a little more. I can attest to the 801 atomizer suggestion. I have been using the 801/302 atomizers lately, and they help create a ton of vapor. I know it probably doesn't mean a lot to you, but you will probably be let down as a cigar smoker.

BTW, welcome to ECF. Sorry, just being quick because I don't want to see anybody under-impressed with vaping.

I was a cigar smoker for the last 8 years and my first experience with vaping was with a couple of disposable e-cigars. They were intriguing, but it just didn't work for me. Once I got used to the idea of trying something that looked more like a cigarette (an 808) I was good to go.

The closest thing I've found to the cigar experience, both in size and quality of the vape is the Go-Go. The bigger size, to me at least, seemed much for natural for a former cigar smoker.
