I have tried rebuilding coils a few times... but, it seems, I don't have the right touch for it, as I didn't get good results yet. :-( Gotta keep trying, though.

Gotta keep trying! At first it's a little finicky, especially if you're trying to dual coil and getting them to heat up evenly, etc. But eventually you'll become pro! What's going on with your builds and what are you building on?

Everyone that uses rebuildables built their first coil at some point. It was a disaster. It looked nothing like the ones in the video. It took them hours.

Ugly coils work, pretty ones work a little better.

As you build more it becomes easier, they start to look OK, and you can whip one up in a few minutes.

There is some lovely coil porn on youtube. Making strange coils is a part of the hobby for some. Beyond looking good and showing your skill bending small pieces of wire I can not really taste a difference with them.

Everyone else has helped I'm sure so I only have one thing to say. Be patient. It took me quite a while and many of my coils worked but were so ugly or off the mark ohm wise. However it only took me a week before I could just whip one out on demand and be exactly the ohms I expected.

Of course once you get into this you're going to need more tanks and all that money you might have saved on replacement attys goes right down the drain, but the reward for rebuilding is so worth it.
