never knew what throat hit was.. until now.. wow

i've tried many juices from many vendors using many contraptions of vaping.. flavor and vapor are obvious.. but i always wondered what throat hit is and what the big deal is with it..

i read that it's the irritation of the throat similar to a cig smoke .. but i smoke lights so i don't really feel any kind of irritation in noticeable ways..

i got some juices from rawr.. couple were similar to others juices TH like truth serum.. peach serum.. some simple fruit flavors..

but then i tried hawaii sunrise and holly (MODERATED) i got the biggest whatever the hell it was on inhale i almost choke.. almost like

i think now i know what TH is and it's awesome..

am i right on what TH is? or did mike put (Moderated)instead of nicotine in my juice

70pg to 30vg is the ideal mix, it's the perfect amount to provide throat hit and larger vapor too.

but all my juices are 70/30 pgvg and 11 or 12 mg but none has hit me like that one flavor did.. what gives.. could it be a mix up in nic level on that bottle? dam i love it but i don't want to up my nic level if that is the case..

I doubt if it's a mix up in this case- Rawr's a pretty consistent vendor- some flavors just give a better TH than others do. Some will take you completely off guard, others, you can kinda predict will be monsters. Anything with an irritant or strong spice will give a better TH, but there are a few unexpected ones, like, say, fried peanut butter and banana, that can knock your socks off too. I am finding banana to be a good flavor for TH lately- I seem to recall Hawaii Sunrise being strong on the banana, isn't it?

Censorship- the downfall of the internet. Im not sure why, if its legal FOR HIM, would it have to edited. Forum rules, whatever. I guess we don't want the forum overruled with the vast uses of the PV (even though the vaporizer was being used/made for non-nicotine substances before any of us adopted our first 510/808........)

We'd rather not give the anti nicotine/tobacco zealots ammo to use against us by associating us with any kind of illegitimate use of the products. It isn't a nefarious attempt to censor anyone or pass judgement- it's a practicality.

gotta have that throat hit! I don't think I would be able to stick to vaping otherwise, it bothers some people but I like it. I feel like I'm actually taking something in instead of nothing.

TH is the number one thing i look for in a juice.
of course i dig the flavor and vapor production too. i cant get enough.
but if a juice does not have ample TH, i cant vape it.

i struggle with TH. even some of my hardest hitting juices can fail to give me the TH i want. but thats a whole 'nother story.
currently my hardest hitting juice is Citrus Punch from Quick Nic. its the most reliable juice ive ever had.

i do have other favorite Throat Hitters too like Line Rider, Bounty Hunter, and Prime 15. but i have to get Prime in 24 mg to get the TH i want. id like to find more 18mg juices with above average TH. if you say this Hawaiian Sunrise (and fried pb & banana too!) have great TH, ive just got to get me some

Unflavored no nic VG is giving me a pretty wild throat hit right now.

But I digress- Ms T's pineapple pizza was a pretty fun TH for me, too- bright and spicy sweet, and sooo yummy. Amazingly, doesn't stick to the atty, either, so it should play well with others.

It's not about cencorship. It's about search engines, and the fact that the ANTZ will latch on to the idea of e-cigs possibly being used for illicit substances. The last place we want them to get such an idea from...is ECF.

Sorry to say, but you are wrong and we don't want to confuse people on what true throat hit is and is not.

11mg strength eliquid will provide a small amount of throat hit but not much. And there is no additives that imitate true throat hit that comes from moderate to high nicotine level and warmer vapor. There are additives that will provide throat irritation but not the throat hit associated with nicotine.

Glad the eliquid worked for you, however.

It does. Also higher voltage/wattage will up your TH. The biggest thing tho is the nic level of the liquid.

so can you describe what TH really feels like? if it doesn't feel like the choke i get from a certain herbal substance then what does it REALLY feel like

Personally, I'm fine without it. As a hookah smoker by nature, there is very little throat hit with that at all (in my experience-if you're getting anything other than a smooth pull, that goes RIGHT to the lungs, you're scorching your shisha).

What I'm vaping now offers very little in the way of throat hit, although I've a decent powered battery on my little 510. My nic strength is low, though. As I vape more for the hand/mouth and something to DO, the nic is not an issue with me. My Cherry is 0mg, and my Ol' Toby is a 6mg. So yeah, take what you will away from that, but I am VERY MUCH enjoying what I've got.

Closest thing to my Hookah I'm yet to find, actually.
