Question/ramble on throat hit.

Alright, i'm sure this is a repeat question but there are so many mentions of throat in every different kind of post..How to get it, what juice has it etc etc and so on. So please forgive me for the re-ask.

I really have no idea what throat hit is. It sounds bad LOL. There are three throat things i experience while vaping. 1 is a small expanded feeling..like taking a big gulp of air which is pretty much what i'm doing as soon as i inhale that mouthful of vapor. 2 is extreme pain when my juice is flooded, or something somewhere just goes wrong. 3 is occasional irritation when the nic level is to high. Such as my husbands juice, when he asks me "does that taste harsh to you?" lol.

If throat hit is that full expanded feeling, why is it called ..hit. That just sounds so aggressive! I hear throat hit and think of number 2...Extreme pain. Why would someone want that! and if it's number 3....again why would someone want that!!!

Smoking 'throat hit' for me was always number 3. It irritated my throat, was hot and occasionally hurt. So i'm all sorts of confused. People say things like "I need that throat hit i got from smoking, to stay satisfied." and i just dont really get it.

I'd like to hear some people's descriptions of throat hit just to get an idea of what it is supposed to feel like just to get an idea. Thanks!

for me, its the #3 you are describing. if i didnt get any of that (#3) i wouldnt know if the PV was working. if you got no TH at all, you could vape in total darkness on a dead PV and not know if your getting the real thing.......the only way to know your battery isnt dead would be if you vaped flavored juice. (in total darkness)
