    The risk of a fire or battery explosion is very real.

    This is not “being stupid”. This is not knowing how different the li-ion batteries we use are from AA batteries. There will always be a need for us to educate each other....from the battery rewrapping companies all the way down to individual vapers.

    Ok. So why worry? If the manufacturers do this, it has to be safe, right?:thumbs:

    Here's a thought, that guy isn't the only one out there "salvaging" free batteries that do not belong in a mod due to their condition. Ignorance or arrogance, probably a bit of both.
    My son-in-law some time ago salvaged some undefined laptop cells to put in a mech. Luckily my daughter could beat some sense into him. Literally.:D
