So Cal
Shouldn't the blue drip tip be on the blue Reo and the black and white drip tip be on the black and white Reo?
The obsessive-compulsive part of me wants you to switch those ASAP.

LOL - that was the plan when I ordered the blue drip tip. However, if you look closely you will see that the OCD part of me noticed that the blues didn't match :p Actually I don't like any of those drip tips - they get swapped out all the time!

I guess I'm not as OCD as you are...

I think that blue drip tip could work on that blue Reo.

Yup. I got my first Reo....and then my second 2 weeks later lol. That was a couple months ago. Since getting them I haven't shopped for vaping supplies. I have tons of Kanthal. Got a decent collection of eliquids so no need to shop for that. Don't need wicking. It's kinda weird going into a vape shop & not needing anything when I go there lol.

I've been wondering how well these work/what are the options for those of us who can't build coils.
They work fantastic, and that is coming from someone who has a Mini Reo but doesn't even use it.

My issue is that I want variable voltage, and that is why I don't use my Mini Reo.
But in the worst case scenario, variable resistance due to different coil builds will work too.

Not nearly as convenient, but doable.

As far as what options you want that do not vary in power (volts or resistance) you can use any standard 510 connection.

I was using my Joyetech 510 atomizers on top for the short time I was using my Mini Reo.
It worked very well until I found out about variable voltage and determined that it was something I had to have.

I posted this in another thread a few days ago. My run down on why Reos are such amazingly great devices. (Note that this was in response to someone saying the Reo was ugly and unsophisticated.)

Funny thing is when I first saw the Reo, I had a very similar reaction along with the "Hmmm, that's an odd-looking, perhaps even ugly mod... And my! Not cheap either!"

Like many here my journey in the world of vaping has been: Cigalikes; eGo with various cartotanks; exploring the world of e-juice; discovering boutique juice vendors; dripping; rebuildable drippers; a big jump to a Provari with a nice Genesis tank and a love of rebuilding in general; yet more toppers; DIY juices...

Now, I'd liked dripping the first time I tried it, but it was kinda a pain in the ... (giving a bottle a gentle squeeze every now and then really isn't, for the record), but it was doing DIY juices that really brought dripping back to the forefront. I was, after all, testing lots of my mixes and dripping is the way to do this. And I discovered that I really liked dripping! The flavor, the rich vapor... but still a pain in the .... This was when I started to reconsider the Reo.

  • Dripping without the pain of dripping? You've got my attention.
  • Rebuildable you say? You've really got my attention.
  • A mechanical mod? I've always understood the appeal of mechanicals, but the safety aspect always bothered me. Many don't have adequate venting so you have a potential pipebomb in your hand. Hmmm, that Reo has a great big hole in it, that battery can vent its ... off and I'm not worrying about shrapnel. You've got my attention.
  • Oh ....! You can wash it in the sink? You've got my attention.
  • Milled out of a solid block of Aluminum? Pretty much indestructable? Okay, you've really, really got my attention.
  • An amazing vape? I kept reading testimony after testimony from people on this forum I trusted about the quality of the vape. (Granted, dripping.) You've got my attention.
  • Pretty much leak proof? Travel friendly? Okay, let's talk.

I didn't start out liking the Reo. But as I learned more about vaping and learned what was disruptive and irritating about vaping (at least for me) the more I came to understand the Reo and its design.

Reos have been around for quite a while - well before coil building became more popular. So people have used them with store bought atomizers for a long time now. You can use cartomizers too.

The Reo Grand can be used with a kick if you want VW - it will take a kick with an 18490 IMR. Or as DC said, build your coil to the ohms you want if you're a coil builder.

I've been vaping my first Reo and RM2 for almost two days now. It's a great system. I don't know if I would like it as much with a carto or a regular dripping atty, but that's just me. I've been building RBAs/RDAs for a while now and am pretty comfortable with it.

The system looks and feels very tough too. I suspect with a few spare parts on hand and a bit of mechanical aptitude you could make one last a really long time.

The REO, just get one... I have heard of people not enjoying REOs, I think they should be evaluated... (nah I kid, to each their own) but if you are thinking about getting a REO, interested in a REO, intrigued by a REO... then its time for you to take the plunge and get a REO...

The REO will change your world... dont believe me? go check out the REO sub forum under supplier, see the customer service Rob offers... he is a great man... he takes care and cares for his customers... he listens to us... recently he released a Sub-ohm kit for those of us who like to "roast our lungs" but it also offers less voltage drop... oh yeah that sub ohm kit, its now the standard... then someone was talking about how they would prefer a lighter version, with little holes in it, or how they thought it would be cool to have... im not sure about how the idea came out... and welcome the Super Light reo... pretty cool... people want brass doors, we have brass doors... now the other day someone was asking about square bottles instead of round to optimize the space and have more liquid capacity... and... now he is scoping out square bottles...

Rob is a man of the people...

To sum it up...

Just take the plunge... odds are you will be happy with your decision...
