I love the idea of stuffing 5V in to a small box, but I can't help but be worried about the draw on those batteries.. those little guys are claiming to be 350mAh and even at that rating it scares me. I'd keep a lot of spare batteries around if you build this, but again it is really slick. I love the idea of just tossing the LED in the clear case and not having to mount it. Now find me some clear 3AA boxes and I'll be a happy modder

The 2AA 5v is my next project using the horn style button I like, now that I've been testing out out the 3AA 5v penstyle for about 2 days and it seems to be running fine.

Now, if only I could find a one-stop store that carries all the parts needed..........oh wait.

For battery life. I used this last night from 7:30 pm until 1:45 am, you know regular use and then this morning got about a half hour from it before the light wouldn't turn on anymore.. So I'd venture that I got about 4+ hours of intermittent use.. not too shabby..

Too many orders to pack so only had 4 or 5 but hit the vape pretty hard, probably an hour of solid vaping.

So after another round of battery testing.. I put in 2 14250's at 9:00am yesterday.. Used them all day at my desk and the unit finally stopped working at 4:00pm.. So about 7 hours and I hit it pretty good.

I put in a 14500 after that and it's still churning at 2:19pm today, almost 16 hours of intermittent use so far although I feel it's about due for a swap..

I bought all the supplies from MadVapers to do it... and i was wondering if you could help me with a question....

how/where to solder the red cable and the black one.... i know is in the 510 connector... but im wondering if theres any particular place where to sold it to????

the guide is not very detailed.. thats why....

I'm new at this. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

The red (positive) wire should be soldered to the center post of the atty connector. The black (ground/negative) wire should be soldered to the outer rim.
