Been using my new 510 for about 2 weeks now, the first battery started blinking after about 3 puffs on it and wouldn't quit blinking. I sat it out to let it die on its own, then tried recharging it. As soon as I put it on the charger, it started blinking again and the light on the charger, blinked from red to green in unison with the led on the battery.

Well, being the dummy I am, i tried taking the led cover off to see if a wire had come un-soldered. The rest is history, and I have now voided the warranty.

The second battery started blinking today, 5 times every time i push the button. If I take the atty off, it works fine. As soon as I put the atty back on, it blinks 5 times every time I push the button. I found that if I gently tap the end of the battery on my watch, i can get it to work with the atty on it for 2 or 3 puffs.

I am now very confused, and a little sad that my batteries malfunctioned so quickly. I am even more bummed that I was a complete idiot for taking apart the first battery, LOL.

Now I am broke, my batteries are broke, and I have no analogs. I do have 2 PT's ( one was sent to me for free as they made a shipping mistake) but they won't help me at work.

Any ideas?

Yeah, the first 2 to go were the autos from the super kit, now both of my manual 510's are broken.

I don't make much money, and what I do make, keeps the bills paid and that's about it. The thing that gets me, is that for me it's easier to go get a $5 pack of analogs than to go on-line and purchase enough supplies to justify a credit card purchase.

I don't make enough money as you, but I would be spending like $7 or $8 a day doing regular cigarettes, with the E cig it was a little hard at first I kill a lot of kits trying to make them work as analog, now I have learn, today my cost is around $1 a day, lets make it $2.50, I am still saving money and I am able to smoke at home while watching a movie, not need to go to the backyard and be bitten by mosquitoes

NativeTexan,

Sorry to hear of your troubles.

When you put the battery in the charger are you screwing it in all the way? It sounds like your batteries never did charge properly.

Yeah, I made sure that I twisted them in snug, and that the charger light turned red. IDK if I overcharged them but the manual said to charge for 8 hours, puff for 20 minutes, then charge for another hour before going on with normal use.
