I dont think that should happen... i just got my 510 and have the pcc on order and i didnt see that post anywhere... i dont want to have to jimmy my new pcc...

The benefits greatly outway the tiny negative of having to use a little sticky foam pad, I would much rather do that than carry 3 batts around with me everywhere I go!

I too have the same problen but 1 battery will charge & the second one does not . this was all purchased together joye 510 kit,& the pcc .At first I used paper folded, now I just cut some sticky sided felt. BE AWARE I made my felt thinner as not to put to much pressure on the spring loaded receptacle at the bottom of the charger. I do not know if that was intended to go ALL the way DOWN or just partialy down LATER!

Exactly! I'd rather have it & have to mod it a little, than be without it at all.
LOL - sounds like if you love something set it free....just don't let him take my PCC with him! LOL

That was exactly why I wasn't too keen on the idea of putting something in the lid; I was afraid a problem could arise if a stronger, more constant pressure was presented to the battery.

I folded the felt piece in thirds and it seemed to be 'airy' enough to allow the battery to decide how much pressure was needed.

I tell ya; I'm so glad I posted this! It makes me feel better to know I wasn't alone in this!

This thread has been extremely helpful.

I was resigned to the fact that my PCC was simply temperamental, but padding the inside of the lid has been very beneficial.

My easy fix was to line the entire inside of the lid with a roll of paper towel. The roll is large enough that it nestles inside the lid without falling out. I can remove it and fluff it up as needed if the padding above the battery becomes compressed.

Except for the short battery life, I am completely smitten with my 510.

If you go to dietsmokes dot com and watch parked's review of the 510, he shows that the batteries he sells with no LED are a bit longer than the other batteries. I guess they made the PCC to fit all styles, but yah, it would have been nice to have had a mention in the instructions and included a shim or felt pad with the PCC. Would have saved me a few minutes of thinkin' my charger was a defect.

Ive been vaping with my 510 for about 1 month and until a few days ago, my pcc started to do the same problem. I had to push the manual battery for it to recharge. I'll try to find some foam too..

Not a big problem as long as it work flawlessly with foam. I was about to return it.. man i love this forum! I just couldnt live without my pcc now :D

i might have missed it reading through all this but does pretty much everyones do this or at some point begin to do this or is it just some. im just curious i have one on the way right now

If I understand your question, and understand the difference in batties, if you have a non-LED 510 battery, it's a little longer and you don't have to do anything - just close the lid and it started charging.

It appears that the batteries with a LED are slightly shorter than the non-LEDs, so you just have to put a little something soft in the lid to push the battery into charging position.

Hope I explained that correctly....:)

I just got manual 510. Can I use the PCC as a carrying case? everytime I put the battery in the case it tries to charge - and don't want to ruin a fully charged battery. I can't carry the manual e-cig around without the button getting pushed? The button gets pushed everywhere I try to park or carry the thing and every time I put it in the charger it tries to charge a fully charged battery. What is the answer?

Windwatcher,
When I first got my PCC, the battery connecting with the terminal with the lid closed was touch & go, but like many folks on this thread, this was resolved with a little padding in the lid.

That being said, I carry a battery in my PCC *all* the time, even though the battery is always pushed down onto the terminal, with no ill effects. I have USB chargers at home and at my desk at work, so my PCC is around just as a back-up. Every now and then I'll think to stick the PCC on the charger-cable, just to keep it's charge topped up, or swap the battery out of the PCC out into rotation with the others that are on active duty.

My point is, don't worry about a fully charged battery being in contact with the terminal continuously. I saw one post somewhere where a person had a faulty case that always discharged and drained itself, but that was an odd-ball occurrance.

Just to let you know, i had the same problem with my PCC, i made the felt fix to my lid, but that only helped a little, even with the felt pushing down the battery a little deeper, the recharge led didnt light every time and the pressure to the lid was scary when you think in long term.

I've spoken with my vapor guru/seller and he told me that its not normal to be forced to put something in the lid so the pcc would work as intended.. he was kind enough to replace my pcc and if u guys bought yours recently and need a foam/felt fix already, try to get it replace if you have a warrenty of some sort.

1 last thing, that would really cheer me up to hear about people who have a pcc that worked flawlessly or worked for many months whitout needing a lid fix.

I do the exact same thing, could it be the source of our pcc problem, that 1 of the battery is always inside the pcc, pushing down on the spring ?

Just wondering if any of you, that are having problems, have tried cleaning the battery contacts both inside the PCC and the battery itself? I had problems like you have described here and a good cleaning of the contacts cleared the problem.

Juice gets into the battery contacts all the time. I keep a Q-tip handy and try to keep the juice out of my chargers and the PCC.

510 PCC from Eastmall is referred to specifically as for the manual batteries. I'm not certain that this is the case with all available models elsewhere. Mine has performed perfectly well and my only concern the sleight gauge of the box spring wire.
Pioneering is rarely scratch free....still good having the pcc in the pack.
My biggest complaint about vaping is that my Bannana Blast niquid has no hint of cherry.........THE ANALOGS WERE KILLING ME.
Good Luck
