Blow out the atty into a tissue. Add a few more drops and blow those through. If you have unflavored PG that's better, you won't waste your juice. Re-attach and drip 2-3 drops in your atty. Take a primer pull without inhaling. Press your button for about 4 seconds to warm your juice and take a long, slow pull into your mouth, inhale and exhale through your nose and mouth. A still room without air running will give you the best experience. Let us know how that works. Hang in there. Dripping with an atomizer is fabulous but there's a learning curve. It's worth it :)

With 5 volts, atomizer and cartridge, you have to keep that cart topped up frequently. Maybe more than you think. Otherwise, you will be heating up the plastic in there.

Some people might suggest 3 ohm cartomizers or something like that, they are easier to keep filled because they take more liquid.

The PG tobacco juice from TW is the only Juice i have tried with this unit. I will try cleaning the atty and see how that works. Just waiting for my bats to recharge. I have a variety of juices coming in next week. I did notice a slight plastic taste on my 3.7v pv, but didn't realy bother me. I have been using this atty for about a month. Could it be going bad?

Yeah.... what roly said. 3.0 ohm is the lowest that you want to go. Keeping the cart wet will avoid it melting. Or try dripping with a trimmed cart if the plastic on the end looks like it is melting.

Who knows what "standard 510" is these days. Do you have a link to the exact atomizer that you are using? This is also why many choose to invest in an inexpensive multimeter so they can test them too.

I use these... but there are other options... https://www.cignot.com/product_p/510-att-tre.htm. 3.0 ohms.

Also make sure that the little plastic cart is aligned with the bridge properly so it doesn't melt and/or trim a mm off the end of it.

P.S.

Could be. Or it needs cleaning. I change them out after a month. You clean them, true?

Those attys can last for ever if you look after them. They are 2.5 ohms (I just tested one) although they can go down to 2.2 ohms. That means they put out a lot of power on 5 volts. They can't 'go off', they can get burnt up or die off though. If you don't keep them very wet they can burn, resulting in a burnt taste that is hard to get rid of (needs strong cleaning). However, excessive cleaning can make them die off.

The best way to use them is: don't work one atty until it dies - rotate them. Use 3 or 4 throughout the day, mine have lasted for over a year doing that. And keep them really wet. That means you will need some sort of cart mod, the original fluval filler batting is only used because it's dirt cheap, not because it works well. Blue aquarium foam is good, or one of the zero-filler mods. I only use RYO cig filters, specially cut, in my 510 carts now - and they work fine with VG on 5v or 3.7v.

Don't flog the guts out of your gear, treat it right and rotate it, and it will last. I laugh when I hear people say their attys last two weeks. I'd feel robbed if they only lasted two months :) On 5v you don't need to clean atties unless you are vaping fudge - the power burns off all the gunk. Don't do dry burns unless you are trying to revive a near-dead over-cleaned atty. Cleaning and dry burns take life off an atty.

wow thanks for all the great advice. I always wonder if people on theese forums have a "rock star" attitude with new comers like me. It's refreshing to say that everyone has been patient, polite, and very helpful.

I cleaned my atty with compressed air. Is that the best way?
Well after cleaning the plastic taste was greatley reduced. Im still not getting very much flavor, but i think thats just a of finding the best juice for 5v. I don't know.

Much thanks to everyone!!!!

I would agree with allmac, do you have another atty you can try that juice on? I've had similar issues when I've used the same atty with a couple juices and switched between 3.7 and 5v. Once that burnt taste is there it seems really hard to get rid of. Try to do a deep cleaning on that atty and then add a drop or two more than what you have been to keep it really wet when vaping.
