Jon @ Liionwholesale posted a link to a new calculator for determining Amp Draw on a regulated mods which is pretty simple and easy to use

Regulated Mod Amp Draw Calculator

3 Variables

1) Number of batteries in a drop down menu
2) Desired Wattage/Wattage Set
3) mod Control Board Efficiency (Default 90%)

A useful link to use to make it easier for average users to use as a reply to them and a great bookmark to have in your arsenal.

Nice.

But put in 1 batter, 60 watts, leave efficiency at 90%, it calculates 22.22 amps. I'm OK with that. But it also shows you a [See Batteries in this range] button, which takes you to this page, where there are some good batteries, but also a number of sketchy ones that simply aren't 25A CDR..

I like it for the simplicity and give it two big thumbs up for being conservative.

To Rossum's point, almost every cell vendor sells some sketchy craptastic re wraps / erroneously rated cells.
Some folks nature to seek the highest number no matter the reality, rationalized by " they couldn't print it on the label if it weren't true ".

While 'we' know better sadly for some people if you say something they don't want to hear even backed by accurate data they will ignore it.

Big numbas moe betta, even when proven false sells dang near everything.
