I just recently switched to vaping (again)!

I started with Blu's some time last year, and gave those up, almost, right away. They were inconsistent, at best. When they switched to cartomizers, I thought it would be better... they got worse.

I lumped all e-cigs into the same category, and I labeled it "crap."

3 weeks ago today, I decided I wanted to quit. I saw some garbage e-cigs at Sam's Club and almost bought them. I remembered the kiosk in the malls around here, and went to try them out first.

Let me say, kiosks have a bad rep. I know that, and I knew that when I went there. I am very instant gratification, and I wanted something in my hand right away. I have not been disappointed.

That day, I bought 2 starter kits (one for me, one for my husband.) Since then, through the same company, I bought the Premium Electronic Cigarette starter kit, too. The first kit I got for myself is the VaporX. It's too much for me, I think. Manual battery, bigger than what I was looking for, and I can't hold it between my fingers. I realize that I am the kind of person that needs it to resemble smoking in some aspect... especially, while I'm driving!!! I only bought it because I knew with the ridiculous looking (but oh, so smooth) pv (GP420) my husband was getting, I would be totally jealous that I got the basics.

I've been lurking here, since that day. I still don't understand everything, but I'm pretty sure that I don't even need to. I need charged, working batteries and some juice. I guess I'm just simple :)

Thanks for helping me with, and becoming, my newest obsession. ~ Susan

I noticed my font was smaller than everyone else's, but I didn't see that until after. Sorry :)

I haven't smoked since I got the first starter kit. It's actually way easier than I expected it to be. I still don't think they really stink, though. I think the people who smoke them stink, but not the actual cigarette. Either way, they'll never taste as good as what I have now :)

Thanks for the welcome!

oh so much better! I don't find cigarettes stink ether untill you put them out I can sit next to a smoker and it doesn't bother me but I have to empty there ashtray fast after they leave

Even as a smoker, I always hated the smell of ashtrays and cigarette butts. My husband just retired from the Army, and it is drilled in their head to put out the cigarette and put the .... in their pocket. I always knew when he did that.

What is the best brand to buy that resembles the look and feel of a cigarette? I don't need designer colors....something easy to use, looks like a cigarette and has enough "stuff" to take the place of a pack a day smoker! Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I'm certainly no expert, but I love what I have. Premium electronic cigarettes... Of course, they have the designer colors (I have white) and they have manual or automatic. I love that it looks and feels like a cigarette because it's made it so much easier to replace smoking. The other thing I had felt more like a toy.

Welcome aboard.... If you want el super cheap PV that looks and feels like a analog the Mistic is a pretty good one (if you have your own juice to fill up a few beat carts). Awesome battery life on them, the default starter kit (1 bat, 1 usb charger, 2 carts) will only run you $15. The only gripe I have/had with them was the carts are an odd size so it's not like you can order them from anyplace :(.

And if you buy either of those things, you better be happy with what they offer because they may not be compatible with what most people here use.

I also do not recommend auto batteries. My suggestion for cigarette-like is Joye 510 MANUAL in white and use the blank tan or white Boge cartomizers (standard resistance aka 3 ohm) from NiteLiteVapor.us (only place I know with white and tan). If you insist on autos buy a manual as a spare so you can use a drip tip on the atomizer to test juices (not recommended on autos) and so you have a spare when you kill one of the autos with carto leaks.
