Hello everyone.
I've been using the vapour for a week now.
I'm still getting to grips with it all but don't feel the urge for a cigarette!

I'm having trouble with leaking into the mouth piece and a loss of vapour.
I'm using a kangatech evod vv 1000 and kanga tech t3d

I keep cleaning, well hubby does as he's better than me at this but were not sure why and what to do.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Hi and welcome! I have had problems with this with one of my t3d tanks. The only way I managed to fix it was to empty the tank, let it fully dry, and replace the atomizer with a new one. I don't know if this will help at all. I do go thru a lot of q-tips because when I'm refilling, I clean off all the threads and the atomizer area as best as I can without damaging it. I recently moved to an aspire nautilus and I don't have this problem, but then again, I'm q-tip happy with this tank as much as I am with the t3d.

I believe you mean Kangertech?

On that note, many problems arise from using cheap plastic tanks. The best advice I can offer is to spend just a little more money and get something made of metal and glass. I would highly recommend the Protank 2, and learning the simple techniques to rebuilding the coils yourself using cotton as a wick. It will save you a ton of money in the long run, and you will have a much better vaping experience.

My first thought is that maybe the coil head isn't screwed in tightly? Check that, and while you're at it, check to make sure that all the silicone seals and O-rings are seated correctly.

I've used Kanger T3's and T3S's, which are quite similar, for over a year now, and don't agree with Timactionfigure's advice. You may want to upgrade at some point, but that is not what is causing your current problem. The T3 series tanks can work quite well.

Hi!

I have Kanger T3S (x4) and T3D (x2).

I have been using T3S for nearly a year, after having trouble with the original MT3, which was a piece of s...

The T3D is actually less troublesome BUT you have a problem. These are dual coil and they are not good on standard eGo batteries.
To get them working well, you need more power. The lack of vapour is down to not enough power and the leaking is because, without the power, you will suck it to the point of madness.

I was sent one to review. On an evod battery, you may as well not bother. I REFUSED to review the product. (I tested it with identical kit to you, by the way.... useless, completely...)

I use it on a Variable power battery (at 10 watts) and it's awesome!!

Get a single coil with a 1.8ohm atomizer head (or a 2.0ohm at worst).... then you'll get good vapour and won't need to suck up the juice.

One of these would be FAR better.

You are getting juice in your mouth because the air chamber is flooded. This can be from a few different causes:

  • You are drawing too hard on your device. This is not like smoking was. Your device requires a gentler, longer draw. Check your draw technique. Clearomizers only use tiny string wicks and tiny heating coils. Moderate to heavy vaping can overwhelm both so that the coils are not able to adequately vaporize all the juice. The excess goes to the air chamber, where you'll experience gurgling, juice in your mouth, or juice on the top of your battery. A gentler longer draw should eliminate this issue.

  • Blow out the clearomizer from the bottom and into a paper towel. This should clear out the air chamber. Remove the base and coil head and dry them both off with a paper towel. This should remove any excess juice from the coil head. Reassemble. Be sure the coil head is snug in the base.

Thank you Baditude!

$20 says if I load up a T3D right now (brand new), put it on an evod battery and try to vape it harder than it wants to vape (which is guaranteed at low power) then it will be flood city.

iClear16s do it as well.

Thank you everyone.

It's only started to really happen today. It has done once or twice in the past though. I've had it a month but only just switched a week ago.

I found it very odd that today was the one day I've not used it half as much and it's just been problems.
Hubby has changed the coil again if that's what it's called and it seems to be much better. I will change my inhaling ways too lol.

He has always got on well with the t3d so I didn't expect any issues. He's using a box type battery though. Yes i know I'm dreadful for not yet knowing the terminology... Bare with me!!

I quite like the way this evod and t3d feels, so I whatever I upgrade to would need to feel the same....?

Many thanks
Titch :)

P.s I can change the power of the battery... It's currently at 3.5 if that means anything?

That will be the volts. 3.5 is low, you can vape at that power, but (again) low power and dual coils is not great unless you take it very easy.
The "Box" battery is presumably an MVP?

Evod and T3D will be more or less the same vape (similar draw/puff characteristics). If you like them, you could try mini Protank 2.

KANGER MINI PROTANK 2 V2 - Clearomizers

I was hoping for mine to arrive this morning. I've been on no.1s since they came out.
