Hi my name is Terri,
I am less than 24 hours new to all this. I have bought 2 of the Menthol Blu E-cig and they are not to bad but they do say you get aprox.400 puffs per E-cig but took me less than a day to smoke one. I normally smoke 1 pack of Camel crush a day at $6.50(aprox) a pack and the Blu E-cig is about $10 which took less time to smoke which seems to be a HUGE cost difference it would be cheaper just to smoke regular cigs.

So here is my question I have been reading here all day on vaping and I am SO confused with all the technical stuff. I am just looking for something that is VERY easy to use (it can be refillable and chargeable that I can handle lol) that has different flavors that you can taste (the BLU did not really taste like menthol to me at all) and that holds a charge (I forget to even charge my cell phone). I am not sure what the nicotine level is in a regular cig but I would like one that is about the same. I see the prices of the E-cigs are widely ranged. So I would like to spend under $50 for everything that I would need to start vaping. Any help would be appreciated please try to dumb it down for me the tech stuff goes WAY over my head LMAO.

Thanks for all your help,
Terri the vaping Noob

Welcome to ECF!

Do you have a walk in Vape store near you? If you do, they can show you the various things available and even let you try new flavors. They will be a bit more pricey than buying online, but at least you can try stuff out and get started. As for the Blu, I am sorry to report that it didn't work out for me. An eGo style battery will last much longer per charge, then you could use the Blu while it is charging.

I am sure others will be along to help as well. Good luck!

Are you willing to go past the cig a like size? You can get more bang for your buck with one's that are rechargeable and fillable but as for not having to charge often you will need the bigger batteries. Ego offers many sizes at a reasonable starting price and all the options you can get wrapped up in.

I also started with the Blu's and wanted something with more flavor variety. I bought a pair of ego c-twists and protank II's. You don't need to buy 2 but I didn't want to have the same problems with a dead battery that I had with the Blu's. There are a lot of different setups you can choose from and I'm sure others will chime in soon. One reason I went with the protanks is because I knew from the start that I would rebuild them myself to reduce cost. Read Read and Read some more. Good luck and Welcome!

ever since these disposable ecigs came out they are hit and miss......those are a bit pricey and are sold to those who prefer a healthier alternative despite the price......if you really want to start vaping and save some money you wanna get a ecig kit. whether it be a 510 or pen style kit or an EGO kit those are gonna be best....you can fill with your own flavor and have different mouth pieces (tanks, carts or whatever) You may have to invest a little money in the beginning but once you find your kit and juices you like it starts to be WAY WAY cheaper than regular smokes......

Also like someone said above a Vape store will help you decide what you want and then you can buy there or take in online and find a kit similiar to what you liked in the store...

I agree with vsummer, visit a local vape shop if you have one nearby. Yes the price will be higher than Internet shopping, but for the extra cash there is a level of support that new vapers often need. Not only can you see and familiarize yourself with some of the equipment out there, helping to bridge that 'all the technical stuff and names are confusing' that we all start with, but you can also find an eliquid with a flavor you enjoy and the proper nicotine strength. This can take mountains of trial and error out of your way.

Good luck and welcome to the forum!
