New and Ready To Upgrade!

Hi all, new to vaping 5 weeks in and analog free! I grabbed a local kit, just a 510T VC52-T Mini-Tank Starter Kit - Black and I had not done any kind of research at all so I thought this was all e-cigs were, lol boy was I wrong.

I have been searching, watching videos and I think this is the setup I want to try (any comments or other recommendations will be greatly accepted)
-Ego twist 100mah batt (the batts im using are horrible on the mini tank kit I have)
-Mini Vivi Nova or Kanger T3 (havent decided on this yet)

As for juice, still looking for my all day vape. I want a tobacco base with a little bit of sweetness, I have tried two RY4's didnt like either, some honey tobacco-meh. Prob the best ive had came with the kit I got, which was a usa mix but it wasnt great either and there has to be better juices, or maybe I'm just picky lol.

I have a few in mind that im gonna try, bobas bounty and halo tribeca, have read good reviews on both of those so i'll be giving them a try and if anyone else has any recommendations of a decent hard hitting tobbacco flavor with a sweet undertone throw it out there for the newbie.

The setup your asking about is what I ordered. I didn't get the Vision mini till a second order. From what I got out of others it would be a good setup to start and last all day.

Can't speak of the e-juice, I like flavors and I'm steering clear of pure tobacco liquids as taste and mg is so subjective- I do like th EC Blends stuff.
As for the setup- Love my ego-c carts for out and about- Kanger T3 for Home in the evenings.

I have the Ego Twist, and it's great. I use it with 510 cartos (dessert vapes taste better in a carto to me) and everything else goes in a Stardust. I'm not cutting edge as far as batteries/mods/tanks/atty's/cartos go though. I just read about rebuildable drip atomizers, too much work! I want minimal effort and max enjoyment, and so far nothing high maintenance really rocks my socks.

Boba's is great, but it tastes really light to me. A lovely sweet, light tobacco and rotation worthy to be sure. I find myself using it as a vape equivalent of a palate cleanser after hugely flavorful overload.

My other favorite is Gandalf by Heathers Heavenly Vapes. Some people find it perfumey I'm learning, but I love it. Have Pendragon and Classic CountRY4 on the way from Mountain Oak Vapor which comes very highly recommended by their customers. Excited to try it.

You and I are on the same hunt for tobacco juice, good luck!

I hear ya Wondertwin, it seems like most stuff is relatively inexpensive as far as maintenace goes with replaceably attys and such, thanks everyone for the replies.

Def try a vision spinner/ego twist (really, get whichever you can find or whatever is cheaper) and vivi nova or t3 clearomizers. That's the step I made when I wanted to try something a little fancier than standard volt e-cigs.


I didn't like ry4 all that much either. Tasted a bit like cotton candy to me. Your tastes seem similar to mine a little. I liked Oompa from HHV. It is a mix of chocolate and tobacco. Not too in your face and has a nice subdued daily vape taste. Wanted to throw that out there because I don't think many people here have tried Oompa. Didn't care for her other tobacco flavors. Too pipe/sweet cigar taste for me. 555 is a good nutty subdued tobacco taste but make sure you buy it from a vendor where people have specifically mentioned they like their 555. The 555 I bought from Alien Visions tastes nothing like (not close to as good) as the 555 I got from smokeless image. Bobas is a great taste but I can see it getting a little redundant for something 24/7 weeks at a time. Still, it's a good vape and I bought 100ml of the stuff. My biggest e-liquid purchase. Very addictive taste. Gorilla Juice tastes sweet, a bit like a juice mixed with banana. I didn't like it but you might like it if you want something on the sweeter side. You may love HHV tobacco flavors like Gandalf, Huntsman, Darkhorse if you want a really in your face tobacco taste (think cigar or pipe tobacco). Really depends on what you want. The other AiV tastes like Gamel are very clean/simple analog tobacco like flavors.

Its funny because most of the RY4's descriptions are something that I think sound GREAT and reviews of people think its great, but I guess their not for me (well i cant really say that because i've only tried a couple, but time to try a different route)

Thanks for the other recommendation will have to look into those, figured when I ordered some bobas I would get the gorilla juice too and probably another tobacco flavor

The other AiV tobacco flavors I tried.

C&D is a bit sweet tasting. The taste reminds me a bit of how a fresh pack of cigs smells. But not how a fresh pack actually smokes. If that makes sense.

Gamel is a very clean analog taste. Very simple/subdued.

Blend 4 is a little similar to C&D but more subdued.

Their 555 doesn't taste nutty at all. It tastes very similar to C&D or Blend 4. I was surprised and wonder if they messed up the flavor or something.

Didn't try HG or Flue Cured.

I upgraded to a vamo and I love it. I can do so much with it, voltage wattage long 18650 battries or short batteries . I just started making my own coils and it Checks the resistantce too! I love it and it was relatively cheep. I got mine from smoketek and I really like thoes guys. Good luck

Your quite welcome,i know a lady friend online from Texas too,she lives in Plano,and shes a wild one,she got a wicked car a nova SS fully pumped up,she even carries her own gun,Texas seems like one wild place,im here in Toronto Canada,the closest we have too the wild west is Calgary in westen Canada,i love Texas.

Your quite welcome,i know a lady friend online from Texas too,she lives in Plano,and shes a wild one,she got a wicked car a nova SS fully pumped up,she even carries her own gun,Texas seems like one wild place,im here in Toronto Canada,the closest we have too the wild west is Calgary in westen Canada,i love Texas.

I have 2 friends that sound similar, and live right next to Plano in Frisco! One of them I got switched to vaping, she lives in the full on country nearby and drives a pimped out Lotus. Coyotes were rampaging on her property and after they got her dog and a calf they invited a few people over and shot the marauders. It's pretty interesting mix lol, I'm from SoCal so it's different but been pretty fun. Never been to Canada, but I know quite few Canadians through gymnastics and the occasional video game. Canada is gorgeous, and the people are pretty funny, they give as good as they get that's for sure lol!

The chrome models are great ,no issues what so ever,except maybe the the spring is a tad thin and needs to too pulled up a bit,i love the idea of putting on different skins on it
