Hi @Cassie J. welcome to the forum and congrats on your journey. For me the all day vape is a myth. However I have found a few flavors that I will enjoy for hours at a time. I keep multiple tanks filled with different flavors so when I want to change I just swap out the tanks, and don't have to worry about cleaning a tank or mixed flavors.

Since you are newly - off cigs(almost)/vaper I would suggest going to a local vape shop or two and sample the flavors. Not all vape shops will have the same. I would also suggest the house blends of juice/cheaper juices is a better place to start until you are off the stinkys 100% as your taste buds will have a great change after that.

I dual used until I got my nic level adjusted (had to raise it a notch) and then all the cravings for the cigs were gone. After that it was a matter of replacing the auto cigs, first thing in the morning, auto, after meals...etc...

I tried and used two "tricks"..
Higher nic quitting

When I was trying to quit I used a cheap clearomizer/tank with the next higher nic in it. When the "itch" got to where the regular vape wasn't scratching it I would hit the higher nicotine tank once and go back to the regular nic vape. It usually took from 3 days to a week to get adjusted to the lower nicotine level. I said usually because I used this same technique to reduce my nicotine content in steps from the high level down to the under 3mg I now enjoy.

Morning Cig.

I kept one flavor of juice just for the mornings. Instead of reaching for the cig in the mornings I knew I had the one flavor juice I enjoyed waiting on me (a blueberry muffin type). After the morning vape I would not use this flavor for the rest of the day. What this did was to give me something to look forward to every morning instead of the cig.

Good luck in your journey, you CAN do it.

Among the other good tips here:

I found that I wanted something as close to a cig, then a couple of weeks later, i didn't want any "fake" cigs in the same way I don't dig vegan bacon. Give me the real thing or nothing. So I moved to fruits. That was okay for another week. Then I searched for something that would be kind of savory or earthy, but not tobacco. Tried teas and ginger and a not sweet toasted nut thing. Wanted something that would go with coffee and beer. Had a morning tank (anise) and nighttime tank (nutty or orange or ginger) for a bit. Then brought tobaccos back into the rotation. In short…

Your taste buds will change. Your cravings will change (something close to ML vs. something in no way related to a ML, for example). Don't go buying 60ml bottles just yet.

Also, I went down a similar path to SirNutZ in a couple ways that i think a lot of vapers do:

Make that morning (or other tough craving) vape special. SIrNutz did it with a special flavor, I did it with making sure that it was a carved out time with my first cup of coffee. I went outside to smoke, so I still made sure that I would get my 8 minutes of quiet preparation for my upcoming day. (No talking to the wife, making a sandwich, finding my keys.)

Consider two setups: I called mine sipper and the gulper. A nautilus mini as a sipper and a Subtank Mini as my Gulper. Sip all day as I can to try stay ahead of the crave. Gulp some nic down when it's 12 degrees out and I can't vape at the bar or otherwise would have taken smoke break.

Good luck

Hi and welcome Cassie!

Lots of good advice here from good people. I agree that you should find a local vape shop and go there to try some of their juices for free. I see you are in Atlanta, and there are two good vendors there. Good Life Vapor is based in Albany, but you can buy Good Life juice Fog It Up in Hiram, Georgia (www.goodlifevapor.com). Vaperite has a number of stores all around Atlanta. You can find the store nearest you at www.vaperite.com. Both make great juice and are reasonably priced. I have more experience with Good Life than I do with Vaperite, however. Good Life juice is very much loved by many here at ECF. I think you'd find plenty you like at either spot.

Be sure to post any questions you have here. There are lots of folks that want to help.
