All you can do is try to stay patient, and educate them one at a time -
People will come at you with all kinds of ignorant statements: you're inhaling antifreeze; those things are worse than cigarettes; they blow up all the time; etc. They hear a news story that is inaccurate, but believe it.

Also good to have a few choice websites you can find, starting perhaps with CASAA to direct them to actual information...

How can you show someone who is not informed about e-cigs, that what they are seeing is vapour and not smoke.
E-cigs are new to our communities and few people are informed about it.

There's a whole AREA here about making your own liquid. I do - it's FAR less costly, and you can with some experimenting, get very tasty liquid!

I won't advise on the EVOD - it's been too long! But I will say, it's a "starter" - and there's a whole world of more satisfying vaping devices - without getting crazy - if you do want something with a little more "kick" or run-time. Many (not all, but many) long-term vapers do move to a "box and tank" setup...

This place, for instance, has like 20 different battery/tank kits for about $50 that are a big step up...

People here can point you at those easily -
Thank you, you have given me a lot to follow up on.

Sorry I seem to have touched on a forbidden topic, I am not trying to promote anything but I am willing to share my experience. If you want further discussion maybe you can contact me on my email (removed email)

Although I appreciate your willingness to share I am not interested in that stuff. Thanks anyway though!

I am using an EVOD. I used to smoke cigarettes, but got asthma and emphysema so I had to stop, but the craving has never gone away, I enjoyed smoking. Well recently I was introduced to vaping and now enjoy it. I am on (OTHER STUFF_.
For some here with asthma or Copd, high vg causes wheezing and A tight chest. I use 80pg/20vg typically sometimes a little higher 70/30 pg/vg. Others have problems with pg, varies with the individual, you have to see what works best for you. Welcome!
