I'm currently looking to upgrade to a new e-cig as my trusty 401 doesn't quite cut it anymore. The batteries are a right royal pain!!! Now I've got 2 in mind, either a 501 tank or (you will have to excuse me if I get this wrong) an ego tank (both liberty flights website) With still being new to this I am still unsure what to look for or which one is the better of the two. Like Hoosier said, if your main complaint is the life of the battery, Go with the eGo. The batteries will last for a lot longer. In addition, with the eGo you will be able to use low resistance cartos or atty's - not so with the skinny 501.

If I was you, I'd forget about the T tanks for now. Go for a Riva 1100 510 & get some Boge cartomisers. You can always try out a tank type atomiser on it at a later date.

Hey fred imho you should look into an epower i get 6-8 hours on a charge, if the batt goes out you are only $7 plus shiping out instead of $20+, and you can use a wide variety of hardware...
E power Fred. Why replace the whole thing when you can replace just the battery. Way better value long term. I was just in the same boat as you and B4 buying a lava tube I was looking at egos. I thought the E Power was a top notch deal for the price.Good luck and welcome to the ECF
