New and with battery questions..

Hi there,
I have been vaping for a few months and am now starting to go mod crazy!
Mostly I am trying to wrap my brain around how you can get 6V out of a 3.7V battery? (such as the provari)
Any thoughts?

The best way to learn is to look up the models on the sites selling them and read about how the work. The Provari is actually variable voltage it uses a buck/boost circuit to regulate voltage. But some larger 3.7 mods can also be made to work at 6 or 7.4 volts by stacking two short 3v or 3.7v batteries.
