To play at their funeral if they do find it and wind up buying a bottle of cooking oil for $400, vaping it anyway and dying? You’re missing the point. Black market means no verification or safeties. Drug dealers are drug dealers. The whole point of vaping is increased safety. My personal suspicion is what is going to happen is people are going to start making NETs out of pipe tobacco. Still safer than a black market item. Not legally, but medically.
People who aren't willing to find the time to build and mix are certainly not going to start making NETs.

Nope. You are correct imho. People like that are going to smoke cigarettes just like “tobacco free america” and such other groups are pushing for.

I'm not missing the point. There will be deaths, for sure, in the black market. That will have silver linings, whether you choose to look at it that way or not. The people that return to smoking will surely have knowledge of deaths from that. I'd be willing to wager (lots of money) that there will be fewer deaths from the vaping black market than there will be from the smoking legal market. So, if the not so serious vapers want to return to smoking, cause ya know, they'll be 'more safe' then again, I'll get out the world's smallest violin so that I can play a special tune for them for not daring to go to the black market.

The reality of the black market though will be that as many of you are stocking up and mixing your own stuff, (as you currently do), that some will mix it and distribute for (great) profit. So, kinda hard to have it both ways. That the black market (stuff) will be inherently deadly, but all the stuff that stockers will be using will be hunky dory, and relatively safe. If you think that (that black market stuff will be inherently dangerous), then you are clearly missing the point.

Interesting wording there. A lot of “you”s. I think I’ve got enough here to use a few myself. You seem to feel that you have an exceptional feel for illegal dealings. You seem to think that even though illegal drug sales have historically NEVER been the way you describe they somehow will be in the future because unspoken reasons.

I will say it again. Drug dealers are drug dealers. They don’t care if someone lives or dies they only care about making money. Sure, sometimes keeping people alive will make them more money, but money is still the sole motivating factor. The vast majority of human beings aren’t like that. There are a few of course. Often they get rich. Sometimes they die ignominiously. Your caviller attitude about the deaths of others makes me more afraid of dealing with such people not less.

Might seem that way, but not sure what you're basing this on. I would have what I'd call normal dealings in black market, and in scheme of things, on the very tame side of things. I've had a few scary situations (from 30+ years ago), and those taught me a few things.

The idea that the nicotine market will be dangerous, truly is laughable to me.

Again, not sure what you're basing this on. As in where did I describe what illegal drug sales are like, prior to this post?

Vapers are in a war, and that is being escalated more and more. To claim the black market is inherently dangerous is laughable. To read me as saying I 'seem to think' it'll always be safe and people will always be treated well, and always in all cases get exceptionally safe products is being disingenuous with what I'm conveying.

Your post is not alone. Many here express the black market will be inherently dangerous. That prices on that market for eLiquid will be very expensive due to the risk involved. I see risk involved, but of all things on the black market, this would literally be on par with the hypothetical reality of caffein is now banned, and people are going to other people's homes to get coffee beans. God help those people that don't have their AK-47's when making those deals for coffee, cause they'll surely need it for how dangerous the market will be.

Yeah, that laughable.
