I suck at this.

No idea what I'm doing.

Battery: Kangertech EVod Mega 1900 mAh
tank: Kangertech Aerotank (double coil)
Liquid: ECBlend French Vanilla 50%PG/50%VG

I'm learning but I still have issues. Worked great at first. Now I'm getting crackling, low vapor, seems like the liquid isn't actually vaporizing all the way - almost like just liquid is coming up. I've only had it for like a day, so I know I haven't warn it out yet.

I need a hit baby gimme it... :(

Not since I got it - which was like 36 hours ago. The girl at the shop said to drain the battery fully before charging it the first time.

It isn't really juice coming up. There just isn't much vapor, there is a lot of crackling, and the flavor is really strong even though there is no vapor...

I plugged it in and its charging now (I can still hit it while its charging!). I kind of wondered if the battery was low, but didn't really know how to tell.

try puffing slow, the harder you pull the more liquid gets pulled into the coils. - the tank works on vacuum seal.

when you pull to much liquid into the coil, it "floods" and either you "drink" juice(worst case), or it just fully saturated the coil and chokes it, causing alot of popping as the heat is trying to excape causing little to no vapor.

I have heard that before.

Not sure if that is what is causing the popping sound. Earlier I changed the coil out for a new coil, making sure there was no liquid in the tube. Tested it by pressing the button (without hitting it), and it is still crackling a lot.

crackling is normal - expecialy for a new coil, it lets you know its working correctly, and not gunked up with crud.

when it POPS loud and sudden mid puff, its a sign of too much juice on the coil. otherwise, a slight crackle is normal :)

also when putting in new coils, you should either prime them before hand, or after installing them let them sit for 10mins or so, so that the wick can saturate with juice. when you get a "dry hit" it is nasty.

I think I get what you mean.

I feel like I'm barely puffing. Its just not very smooth at all :\

Edit: Several people have had this problem... I found this article: How to: Fix Kanger EVOD leaking/gurgling issues

According to this article, there is a problem with the cap on the coil not completely sealing, allowing juice to leak into the tube.

Does anybody else have to do this?

I am using the stock coils that came with the Aerotank, and I'm pretty sure they are the culprit. There are new coils out now, and hopefully they will work better.
