I had a couple of minutes to kill the other day, and was low on juice while downtown. Drove down to the Southside, and talked to Mike at Doc's Vapor. Handed me a 510 atty to try out; my darwin said it was a LR.
It's a 510, but the inside isn't like anything else I haven't seen. Looks like the whole bottom is one big freakin wick. The draw is a little tight, but....it seems a couple of drops will keep this thing going for a long, long time. I will take that tradeoff, Sir!
Mike's being pretty tight lipped about the whole thing, I haven't a clue about if it's special made or what not. He's calling it a Doc Dripper, or "Double D". And he's thinking about selling them. No plans or pricing just yet. If you drip on a 510, see if you can talk him out of one...or five. Doesn't appear to leak, either (I can almost hear my Darwin letting out a long, slow sigh of relief...). I'm trying to see if he can get these in 801 and 901 versions. I don't drink anymore, but I just may have to tote a six pack or two down to the store and see if he'll let go of some more of them.
