new atty tastes bad

I just got in a new atty and bettery. There is this god awful taste in it out of the box. Do these things have primer on them or something? How is the best way to prep them for vaping? I tried washing it out w/o any luck.

Atty's come with primer. I don't do anything other than tough it out and it goes away after about an hour or so.

You can blow out the worst of it, you could also drip a few drops of VG or PG directly to the atty and vape without inhaling as well.

Bingo...one drop of juice and one of glycerin would be fine too, just be sure to hit the atty spot on if you're using an auto battery. You'll be gtg in a day!

Primer is just bog standard liquid they put on in the factory to keep it moist.

Majority of the time the attys I have had while they are not to my personal taste are not rank.

I do wonder if those getting atties with really vile liquid have been lying about and the liquid is off.

I had gotten an atty that had a horrible taste and it never went away, it could be the primer as others have said or it could simply be a bad atty. Mine happened to be a bad atty.
