What advantage does the LiNiCoO2 chemistry offer over regular lithium ion batteries? I've been looking around trying to find the answer, no luck yet.

Other then providing for more battery life in the same size package, i'm not aware of any other tangible differences.

When will the AW 18650 2900mAH be back in stock? I went to order some and the shopping cart total indicates that they are out of stock. Thanks. OldDude1

When i talked to my AW supplier about a week ago, he said a couple of weeks. Evidently there was a run on them:) I should have more information early next week.

.2C discharge? Is that correct ?? Relates to slightly over 1/2A which seems quite low. My current Provari settings require almost 3 times that (1.425A).

Plenty of power to power a Provari or any mod for that matter:

Max. Discharge Rate : 5.8A ( ambient temp. 25 ℃ )

The .2C rating is just the specs at which they measure the 2900mah. It's akin to the EPA using 55mph to rate the mile per gallon rating of a car, when in fact, the car can go 150+ mph :)
